ok its a good video however you are not very consistent. And there are parts where you went too fast. Either call strings by their names or their numbers, do not interchange all the time, this confuses people. I have been playing violin since I was in high school so I know about music theory. I had to start/stop this video a few times in order to understand everything you were talking about.

Iv literally just started learning guitar, I can just about play wild thing (very slowly) and only actually know those 3 chords and the names of the strings pretty much, however am about a 3rd of the way through this video and its very useful. You are a really good teacher, and will deff be checking out your other videos. Also you're not perfect in that you have to take some time to figure it out yourself, however I think thats a fantastic quality...

Just an FYI, when this piece is performed live, sometimes it is tuned down the halfstep to Eb tuning, most notably in the live Metallica performance with Michael Kamen and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. So perhaps whoever wrote the tabs was basing it off that performance. I wonder if the orchestra had to play it in Eb! That's a pain in the rear to play on a string instrument, but it's bad for cello, violin, viola, etc to tune them differently so I'm not sure. Anyways, good tutorial! :)

Thank you very much for this video lesson. I got a guitar 4 days ago and then started going through the lessons in a book. I almost wanted to just hang the guitar up and never play again, then I came across your video and I can almost play this song. Still getting more strings than I should on the frets but I now feel there is hope for me yet. It is very good how I can see your fingers move so that I can try and mimic that. Books can't teach like this.

@BulldzrWV Look up finger exercises for guitar on YT - I had the same problem/frustrations but with daily exercises I am now able to stretch from the 1st fret all the way to the 12th...only joking :) but i can reach much further than before and hold those notes without any fret buzz. Keep it up you'll get there before you know it. Peace.
