I'd like to reply to a couple comments. 1.) I don't have a food processor, thus I use my blender, which works fine. 2.) I made the salsa for myself, so who cares if I double dip? Thumbs up if you've made this recipe.
I am Mexican, and appreciate this guy providing an alternative option. Not everybody can afford, or care for organic. This salsa, plus tortilla offer more nutrients than french fries and ketchup.
I was really digging the recipe and the salsa looked very tasty until you coughed at the end and then doubled dipped your chip (you know thats like putting your whole mouth into the salsa bowl) and I got turned off. =)
I love cleavers too. But, would recommend the Dexter Chinese Cleaver that costs about $30. It is wonderful for everyday use. Also, if you have a grapefruit spoon with it serrated edges, this is a good tool for coring out chiles, etc.
I'm real hesitent to take advice on how to make mexican food, especially salsa from a fellow white boy, but this looks/sounds fantastic. You've got to be from the west coast. East coast has seafood, we've got mexican food. :)
What, did you make this video with some kiddy easy-bake camera? And those foodstuffs, come on, only organic products can make real salsa sauce. You are the biggest los'r ...total looser king...
Hey there, be nice pigetstuck. Not everyone shops at The Whole Foods Market. Regular veggies are fine also. Now rotten tomatoes on the other hand are NOT FINE.

the part you cut of of those peppers are the membranes of the pepper. Those membranes are where is most of the 'hotness' is stored in the pepper. FYI
