You should take the time to watch the german version shown in berlin right now. It is way more amusing even if you don't understand what they are saying. If you know the plot... I recomend it a lot. i actually saw the german musical live in vienna a few weeks ago, even though most young people laughed, most adults were very angry, some even thought about leavin. i guess, they couldn't handle some of the songs parts; not just because the "hakenkreuz" is illegal in austria and germany.
