While you are right- the bible never mentions the trinity, you are confusing 'organized Christianity with true Christianity that only follows the 4 Gospels for their beliefs. Islam is a load of crap and most definatly the worst thing that has ever happen as well as being the bloodiest and sickest religion in all of human existance.. However I hate it when a Christian critises it. Thats like piss telling shit its dirty and should clean. I have nothing against the people in it, they are human beings and I understand how they can believe this stuff, it doesnt make it right though. Muslims Repent!! The Evil one has sown the path of the Muslim Religion, has drawn people away from the only true faith!!! Christianity!!! The fact that the Muslims acknowledge that Jesus was a Prophet would mean that the Teachings of Jesus would stand!! Jesus Teachings where universal, he claimed he was Son of God, therefore any Prophets before or after him where not of higher authority!

There's no doubt dat Jesus (pbuh) was a special creation of God. He was sinless n fatherless and God chose him as e Messiah but not any other prophets.
He was like half man, half angel. You can compare him with angels, but NEVER with God, whom he himself n all other prophets worship to.
His mother is special too for having pregnant without being touched by any man.

@srkb001 Jesus was not half man half angel.. He was only human in every sense of the word human. In the Quran 5:76 It says:
"The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded."
This indicates that (i.e. they used to defecate like any human beings), Angels don't eat let alone "God"

@SeekingTruth1234 Yeah, plenty of scholars believe that the Qur'an is also historically accurate. Just as plenty of scholars consider the bible to be historically inaccurate. Most historians believe that man has existed for more than 6000 yrs, but the bible doesn't seem to share that view. But even more compelling, is that I haven't come across a bible scholar that believes that the bible is authentic- at least not the New Testament.

The Quran was written 540 years after the Gospels. The Quran just takes from it and puts their own 'spin' on whatever the Bible or Jesus says and credits Muhammad for saying it. If you doubt me, read the Scriptures, both Old and New and see for yourself.
The Quaran itself, says they are, indeed Holy books that should be read and that Esa (Jesus) will be "the sign of judgement" and was "a great Prophet" and "a great Prophet cannot lie", so should you not read what this Great Prophet said?

While you are right- the bible never mentions the trinity, you are confusing 'organized Christianity with true Christianity that only follows the 4 Gospels for their beliefs. Many Christians are lumped in to the same box as the big Christian churches (ie: the Catholic church) but true Christians do not belong to any formalized church.
As for it being altered, you are wrong- 'do your research'. read Lee Strobel.
