He's amazing - on and off the ice. My family won the Bring Home the Cup contest the very first year....Got to spend some time with him and let me tell you, he's a special guy.
Speaking as a female I can tell you that's true. No one can question his toughness and he's the prototypical man's man - that coupled with the fact that he's not ashamed to cry makes him incredibly attractive. So he emotes...there's nothing wrong with that.
Why do you vex the Messier so much? Is it because your team of transplanted Colorado Bitches could never beat a true champion like Messier? Or that the Devils never had any significant skills and had to resort to cheap tactics like holding sticks( hey they like holding sticks) or clutching guys( they did so because they could'nt control there homosexual tendancies and had to grab on toother guys). If you can't beat a team with skills then I guess you have to cheat.
I can't fault anyone for crying.. I mean everytime he put his skates on, everytime he played outside as a kid, everytime he tapes up his blade, every loss, every win, he had one dream, to win the stanley cup and be remembered. Its his dream, wouldn't you be emotional if you achieved your dream?
I can imagine what some people in the audience are thinking to themselves "ohh god he's crying again? enough already, we get it, you cry over anything, get it over with"

jeez, someone needs to just put a shovel to his face, he gets any recognition and cries, its so annoying to see him cry, good god what a freakign DRAMA QUEEN, someone just needs to shut him up.
i dont think ive ever seen someone who won so many cups live off of only one stanley cup for 14 years after winning it with the rangers, annoying!!!

This guy has done plenty, and yeah he was a great captain and player, but I would never put him above Gretzky.
That was before he came to Vancouver, stole Maki's #11, Linden's 'C', as well as our Cup.

Although I'm a Die hard Devils fan, Mark was a great leader in every way. Scoring, emotion, attitude, toughness and a true leader. Love hockey
