what year that RG550? ..I sanded mine down too ..got a sweet stainless steel pickguard cut for it ...real nice..also put Dimarzio's in her...what a diff in tone! nice vid
@supatones Thanks. SN# F734678 got it in 1989 with money saved from my very first job. Was originally finished in day glow (Dave Navarro) yellow. In 1996 a girlfriend of mine referred to it as the "dumb blonde" of my guitar collection. I sanded it and now its got a more natural tone.
