  • Anyone got a link to episode 17?

  • Anyone got a link to episode 17?

  • Tough not to put Patrick on a flush draw.

  • hahah doyle always talks about his young mans luck

  • Loving Patrik's play there with the 8 2 suited. Especially after his recent activity and how loose he is playing. Because when you flop the goods you get paid off by other players and you can just fast play it and charge the draws and get alot of money in the pot when you're ahead.

This game is all about timing and it showed there.

    Good poker!

  • yea hes a good predictor for making a flush

  • lol... Doyle... 4:58 gotta luv him

  • i dont know poker but patrik is dreamy haha

  • thanks for uploading this video, Vailerth~

I'm usually doing work, or playing online when it's on GSN, lol~

Good to see how the pros play and gain some insight on the the world of high rollers~

  • Any Poker Game is lame and boring without Gabe and Aj. Simple, practical, good taste, first class humor, always!

Love you guys, keep on going!!!!!

  • "Daniel remembers that Patrik had that same expression on this face when he bluffed 150,000 from Sammy" LOL Patrik rarely ever have any expression or talks, a fine example of poker face. On the side note, he does sound very sexy when he talks. (yes, i am a girl, hold your fire with the 'you are gay' comments)

  • Vailerth , many thanks for uploading these HSP's. Very enjoyable watching the "Pros" go at it. I've picked up a few tips here and there that I'm going to try to use in my poker game. Once again , kudos 2 u and keep up the good work. ; ]

  • Appreciate the high stakes action man good lessons in these clips for the beginner and the experienced players.

  • I still can't believe that this is all real money. I mean Daniel practically gave Patrick 160,000 dollars.

  • yeah, they're high rollers~

Patrick exploited his table image, he was playing loose. But that time he had a real good hand, and Daniel was on a draw, then that river messed him up. He called w/ nothing, then made top pair, so he eventually called...

gotta love flopping a str8 or flush, ~

  • It takes real guts to play like this. I'd be SO nervous and play so conservative but sometimes you need to relax. These guys have the money though, I'm just teenager.

  • Trust me. Patrick is a straight up top level gambler. He does not that THAT much money. Yes, he does have millions, but no matter how many millions you have, it does not justify the gambling mentality of putting 500,000 into the table at once.

  • Thanks Vailerth.

  • Thank you Vailerth for uploading HSP.

  • i dont see people thanking Vailerth for uploading these episodes. all of you are dick riding on eachother about who plays better and who plays worse. no offense to anyone here, but i think there should be more comments thanking for these uploads Vailerth. on my behalf i say Thank you Vailerth and i subscribed.

  • Daniel is normally such a good reader, but he didnt have clue where Patrik was at in this hand.

  • I Fkcn love Doyle, after the last hand doyle says, "I remember when i was young, shoot it up with 82 diamonds and flop flush" ha I love it.

  • The greatest players can represent hands when they miss and get maximum value when they crush it. this holds true for Antonius. Fantastic player, period.

  • you suck. antonius is one of the top players out there.

  • he's just a dumb ass American, let him do his rant, he can't help it...

  • your a idiot

    Patrick Antonius

is like one of the top players in the whole world

and lucky?? wtf have you seen him on this thing guys not getting a single bit of luck until the end

    your dumb

cant believe you just said Antonius sucks

  • here u dont know shit about poker if thats what u think so here your the fucking idiot

  • i got a reply on my comment that said its from you

what you said doesnt seem to make any sense to me

and it has nothing to do with what i said

so ill just leave it @ that

  • lol

  • did gabe dye his hair and 1 eyebrow? looks ridiculous.

  • LOL- What a goofball Gabe is, but I still think he's awesome! He may as well dye his mustache and "soul patch" to match his eyebrow and hair (and tuxedo) as well!

  • just noticed thexderx comments, how is daniel over rated he won player of the year. You win that by having the highest average in the WSOP you clearly dont know what your talking about. That hand was setup through patricks loose play earlier against Mr Farha who is the only one with enough nuts to call.

  • your talking rubbish, apart from mr juanda he has probably the greatest reads on other players. did u see when he bought in for $1,000,000 he lost three big hands when he was a favorite but still managed to break even, you tell me who can win $750,000 and still be considered "a weak cash game player"

  • Just noticed daniel has basically no chips and a very small wad of money in the next show, looks like he gets cleaned out despite giving nearly half his stack to patrick.

  • laliberte is like a billionnaire, ceo of some circus company

    500,000 is nothing to him

  • azaas I cannot believe you want Laliberte replaced!!!!!!! The man has been making the $500,000 buy in game awesome. He is in a lot of big pots and has out played the table the last few weeks. I do agree that hellmuth could be brought in though. Maybe for barry cos i think i got more personality in my left nut then he does in his whole body

  • Its true they should replace the guys who are playing rock solid. I like watching the players gamble. In these no limit cash games most of the pros play very few big pots in a session. Get someone in who is looking to play some pots. I like the fact that patrick played some pots and gave some action, even if he lots some money.

  • *lots = lost

    opps

  • that final hand was pretty fvcking amazing.Patrick's beting patterns are so great that a book should be written on them.Daniel couldn't do anything but just pay him off [A on the river was even sicker than those 3 diamonds on the flop].Anyway, great play so far,Esfandiari could step it up a bit,Branson should be replaced by Ivey and Laliberte sould be replaced by Hellmuth. Can't wait for the next episode ^^

  • Seriously, why is Antonio there? I doubted he had the bankroll to play in this game and the way he has folded 90% of his hands proves that statement to be correct.

  • why did chip reese never play on high stakes poker? it would have been a great show

  • Horrible call from DN on the turn. It seems to be the only leak in his game.

  • I think Daniel is the most overated player in poker. I mean he calls out peoples hands, then goes ahead and pays them off anyway. I mean he pays of Patrik with a pair of aces???? What a donkey play.

  • yeah daniel is a great player...even tho he doesnt have the bracelets i put him up there with chan, brunson, and helmuth..but he does have a habit of making great reads but not going with them..he doesnt trust his reads, he talks himself into going against them more often than you would think a pro would do

  • go on high stakes poker. love it, keep posting vailerth, thanks

  • you re right, daniel has no read on patrick at all! did he really think that patrick was tilting so bad that he d pump the river on nothing again! huge fan of daniel but bad call! he defo has sammys number thou! always reads him brilliantly, sammy should just shut up when playing dan,to limit his tells!

  • Thanks for the upload!

But this Episode was the most boring of the Season.

Get Mike the Mouth in there! :-)

  • yeah man it was very boring........

  • antonio is annoying hes horrible quick assignment for extra credict list the top 3 to 5 most annoying players and why it could be anything ill check the comments for laughter later .. the funnier the better

  • Humberto Brenes and that douche he yells "quack quack" are the two most annoying players. why would you say antonio is annoying? he doesn't make a sound.

  • oh the quack dude is paul magriel--really annoying and lame.

then after that you have plenty of douche bags in the wsop..which thankfully I don't remember any of their names, since they don't even deserve the recognition.

  • cause hes always talking like.. wow i love this country and i wish i can play high stakes everyday and he doesnt ever play a hand unless its the top 5 or something, it just dont feel right with him at the table, watch the recent shows the dude is a fag

  • he just raised w/ 8 2

  • not patrik.... the magic dude

  • oh esfandiari..he is playing very tight here yeah, but he's good

  • Gabe is THE MAN, he really makes this show what it is: the best. Next season pleeeeaaase lose this "magician". He's in way over his head playing on HSP, never mind for 500K buy-ins! "I love America", "I love HSP", "I love my life". Just make room for a proper high stakes player. Or even Mr. Gold hahaha!

  • They get paid 1500 dollars per hour. I read that in a magazine, but that was the first or second season, maybe they get more now as the show is getting more populare

  • darn next week the last episode of HSP

i love HSP and i love Gabe Kaplan. He is so funny and he knows much about poker

I hope we see him again soon in another poker program series

    HSP 5/5

  • Vailerth Thank you!

  • thanks for the upload

  • I think Daniel put Patrick on something like Ax/A7 with the Ad. Patrick figures to check it down with a middle pair or worse if the As had not hit... but I don't understand why Daniel would call a bet even if the river bricked; Patrick is less likely to make a big bluff since he was caught last time. I don't mind his flop call too much, but when Patrick refuses a free card on the turn, he should have folded.

  • Cause Daniels ego will not let him be outplayed by a player he believes he has a read on ....Daniels ego is his leak! LOL

  • I think when we see a weird play, we've got to remember two things:

    1) they're playing on a level that is not easily attainable, and therefore may seem strange to us underlings;

2)the show probably doesn't air about half the hands, so each player has a history inside each game that we don't get to see

  • You're right about everything, except that these players play with each other every single day and night in cash games and tournaments around the world - their history isn't just from this game - it's from a liftime of playing with each other.

  • Good point. I suppose they don't forget the little things too easily, if they go a day, a week, or a month without playing with each other (they are pros after all)

  • the fundamentals apply at any level...

Daniel made a -ev call on the river based on

    an obvious bad read...

  • the fundamentals Don't apply if Everyone playing knows them inside out - they have to play 5 steps ahead and trust instict, intuition, and reads - which can go wrong.

  • Vailerth- NOt that you dont already know this, but YOU ARE THE MAN!

  • WORD F.....g UP. Vailerth RULES.

  • Not true at all, the main point is that the single hands are more complex.

  • i think the producer give them the cash for play or half buy-in

  • LOL yeah and they buy them all Ferraris too!

  • you don't know much about the lives of these players - this amount of money isn't even that much to them - the biggest game that they all play all the time is $4000, $8000 blinds - and they lose millions on any day - they are richer than you think, and they like to gamble it all more than you think

  • Daniel also seems to have no read on Patrik. Or something close to it.

  • LOL

Yeah he has a read on how to pay off better players...Daniel is so overrated in cash games...his ego will not let him fold when hes obviously beat...ask Gus... LOL

  • he was Not obviously beat in That hand with Gus - it was a very bad situation

  • Sammy: last night i'm playing my money now i'm not thats the difference... who gives 500k to these poker player???

  • he borrowed some money from another player

  • He didn't borrow, he won it... and now he's playin with his profit...

  • bullshit

  • Sammy has one million dollar swings all the time. The same goes with Patrick Antonius and David Benyamine. Know your facts before you call out bullshit.

  • Everyone here is wrong, he did not "borrow" and he didn't mean that he was "playing with profit" - the fact that they have 1 million dollar swings is also irrelevant. He's playing an investors money or money from a number of investors who each get a percentage of his profits if he wins - he also then gets to keep a percentage for himself. The original question was who would give him 500k - the answer is people who believe in his skills enough to think that he is worth the risk/investment.

  • antonius is one of the best pokerfaces in the world and he is a very tough player.i like his style

  • dito kido

  • I love Doyle's comment after the last hand. But what happened to Hellmuth?? I miss him.

  • next time is the last episode of 500K buy in??

  • Yes

  • antonius always have the same face expression....bluff, win....this time is gonna paid off

  • daniel has some stones to value call with A high

  • yay
