I love your comment! This isn't really a legit trailer, I'm a student that downloaded the movie and made a really messed up death filled trailer for this technology class called Intermedia and I was just learning how to edit in Adobe Premier for the first time. I don't blame you for getting that D-movie impression from this trailer, but watch some other ones and give the trilogy a shot, the first movie is the best, the acting isn't all that great but the story concept is amazing.

In The Cube from 1997, there are a batch of people whoo can't escape from 25³ Cubes which are moving and trapped, but they can get from 1 Cube to another.

The mystery of the first two films make them that much more intense. The whole idea is that the characters don't know what's going on, so neither should the viewer. I didn't know that this was supposed to be a prequel, never picked up on it during the movie.

There are only 3 cases where there is a good amount of gore. the rest of the deaths are just suggested or cut away.
