@Namenae27 It didn't seem like it was a completely fake accent. It's possible that all of her work on "Castle" developed her American accent as more natural than it was before. She's actually Canadian. I agree, though, her Russian Accent is HOT! It's Katic, by the way. Stana Katic.

I love Stana. And everything about her. Only she would think to totally play the interviewer who obviously doesn't know her or the fact that she doesn't have a British accent. The only accent she has is her Canadian accent that she occasionally slips into. This is epic.

This isn't her real accent. If you listen to many more of her more relaxed interviews you will see that she has a "normal" American accent. I don't know why she chose to use her bristish accent here but definitely not her "real" accent. She grew up in Canada and in Chicago... Why would her normal accent be bristish?

@4545sarah She didn't lol she still says mom as mum and ay at the end of a lot of her sentences, its just the fact that now she's playing Kate Beckett and Beckett has no accent. Stana herself does a brilliant Russian, French, and Italian since she speaks all of those languages and a few more that I can't think of on the moment, sorry about that. :)

I'm kinda thinking that her accent is a joke here...Some words have an emphasized British dialect (like at the end) and others don't.

She doesn't have any other type of accent in any interview or clip on youtube...So, I'm thinkin it might've been an in-the-moment type of thing...that or she had a bet with someone.

It is simply amazing how she is using her authentic accent is this interview. I just got through listening to an interview with her and her costar Nathan Fillion on the new ABC drama Castle. You would never know even for a second that she is not American Born! I think that it would even give me a false sense of who she really is as a person.
