  • This is one very "tested" video. =p

  • going to see simon live in wales end of january

  • This video went viral on Astana

  • their best song!

  • cosa mi aspetto dal domaniiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • @belozoglu27 azz

ma dicic he è uscita prima sta qua?

  • OCS are ta fuckingBOMB, i wana have Simon Fowlers babys......

  • I remember listening to them as a six year old, this song and others by ocs remind me of my childhood and how good the 90's were :)

  • @BlatesRawrRawr right there with ya man

  • i like ocs ! but no comparison to OASIS ? hahaha they only made one good album prizcbh ?????? what is your prescription dude?

  • Ocean colour scene is like Iron Brew.

  • everibody listen: "lunapop - un giorno migliore"

  • @matteboss007 cesare cremoniniis an idiot

  • Hopefully today will be a "Better Day" but still alway's smiling :)

  • Most unrated band ever.

  • @simonfowler81 Totally agree. Ocean color scene FTW

  • i lunapop l'hanno plagiata

  • @RickyPunk18 I lunapop sono dei prendinculo

  • @RickyPunk18 non il contrario?

  • Half of the songs on every OCS LP are not quite good for me. The other half are brilliant, true and pure art, this is one of them

  • Tune!!!

  • OCS probably one of the greatest bands in 90s and most underrated band in the world.

  • I know music is subjective and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I just can't understand people who say that Oasis are "the greatest band ever" or that Definitely Maybe was "the best album ever made". Oasis were samey, had hardly any variation or ambition in their music, and everything since Be Here Now has been ropey at best.

I liked them, and I loved Definitely Maybe, but anyone who thinks they are as good as rock music can get needs to get out more.

  • They are a great band!. Greetings from Venezuela

  • right i love ocean colour scene, but we dont have to start taking sides on the oasis vs ocs thing here, cause obviously oasis were better hence knebworth 1996. why cant we just say they were both great bands who had differing levels of success?

  • what a f***king tune thats all i need to say.UP THE MODS<<<<<<<<<

  • Look at you all slagging of Oasis. Oasis will alway be the best band ever created. They made OCS by letting them support them in the biggest outdoor gig. Show some respect and wipe your tears away because these will never beat Oasis...

  • Saw them last year at the Engine shed in Lincoln, bloody brilliant

  • saw theese a couple weeks ago and was very dissapointed, don't think it was their fault, sound quality was dirt, was looking forward to the gig for sooo long too

  • =D

  • why does it matter who is better both are good , music isnt about who is better just listen to what you like simple !!!

  • Cesare Cremonini, mi hai deluso xD

  • MAD FER IT!!! LIVE FOREVA!!!

  • TUNE! Marchin already is definately one of my all time favorite albums. Seen this band play live 14 times at gigs and festivals. No disrespect to oasis but OCS fucking slaughter them.

  • Just pure talent...Seen them loads and every time they get better...

  • seen ocs 4 times now and they get better everytime, weller coming out at the kasbah in cov was a great moment ,seen oasis at maine road when ocs and manics supported fantastic day !!!

  • Saw OCS supporting Oasis a few years back at Prehen.Chucked it down all day,but it didnt matter.2 quality acts seen 2 that.Deffo oasis get more credit than OCS,but thats the way it is.Both are quality tho.No question.

  • OASIS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

  • ¡Qué LINDA canción!! =D

  • These are so good I'm seeing them again in November

  • Ocean Colour scene is a clone of Oasis

Oasis is a clone of Beetles

  • @ocelopyrocelot your a wanker

  • I love OCS, I love Oasis, period

  • these and travis were unlucky to have to compete with oasis, all great bands that deserved the same praise and recognition, long live the 90s!!

  • 1 OV MY FAVOURITES OF ALL TIME WHAT A TUNE

  • totally agree these were and are a great band, but oasis were always in the news for their gob-shite ways sadly that made them popular more than bands that deserve recognition.

  • Being from Birmingham didn't help them with their profile. And I speak as Brummie(clue's in the name).

Great band, one of the best to come out the city.

  • Marchin' already is my favourite album of all time. There's not a single tune on that album that does't raise the hairs on my neck. Amazing.

  • This is just a mediocre Harrison rip, this is anything but underrated.

  • @BOGMOSS are you lucifer?

  • lol im the 666th person to like it :)

  • when you hear this song live it hits you hard

  • 9 dislikes? Do people not know good music?

  • when i wa growin up WOT A TUNE simples

  • My favourite song from one of my favourite albums. Never seen the video till now, God bless Youtube. Here's to another 21 years!

  • going to see them at aberdeen music hall tomorrow night 24.2.11,cannot wait!!!

  • they were amazing last night!

i got some videos on my channel

  • one of the best bands in UK last 20 years,i liked so much the simon fowler style, his hairdo, his wardrobe, the way he move and sing...its the polished singer guy in UK. He doesn,t need stir up troubles, quarrel, uproars as gallagher,s brothers!

the most important thing its the brilliant music, doesn,t matter the rest.

  • seen them yesterday at o2 academy in newcastle there are classssss

  • People keep comparing these guys to oasis but these guy are very much more talented and there from Moseley so they must be great

  • Me gusta muchooooooo!!!!! Qué bonitaaa!!!!! =D

  • less than 2 weeks till see them.......

  • Hearing this makes me upset. How can such a great band remain so little known now. Oasis were good no question but these were better but don't get the credit. Can't wait to see them live in february!

  • @jewell1994 Yeah, I'm hitting them up in Cardiff :)

  • @jewell1994 Better than Oasis? No fuckin' way.

  • @kris1991 I'd much rather listen to OCS and they are by far better musicians. They have miles more variety than Oasis as well

  • @jewell1994 I like a band that has a unique, distinct sound not something that changes with every song.

  • @kris1991 I love Oasis too but just think these are more entertaining to listen to and that Oasis are over rated

  • @jewell1994 It's not about popularity or record sales, it;s about quality music. And this is quality.

  • @jewell1994 IF they were better they would have made it bigger, but they didn't.

  • @RockerWarrenMOViES : Ok, I prefer Oasis, but success doesn't equal quality. Other than having quality tunes, making it bigger is a lot more about being around at the right place at the right time, the right single coming out at the right time, being on the right TV/radio shows at the right time, being liked by magazines/newspapers which means you get more publicity and get more opportunities to appear on front pages. Also Oasis were controversial and controversy equals more publicity.

  • @RockerWarrenMOViES

that's a ridiculous, badly thought out, provocative comment to make. no offence! so based on your ideology (for example) you would class someone like Madonna or Maria Carey as being better than Oasis then. They both made it a lot bigger so they must be better no??? Plonker

  • @jewell1994 Remember reading some snotty guardian journalist writing "Who actually likes OCS?" This was around the time the media was up Oasis' backsides. Press just didnt want to know this band. There were a fair few back then that just didnt get the media attention they deserved. Then again there were a lot of decent bands back then not like the dross these days.

  • @jewell1994

I agree that these didnt get the credit.. because some of their songs were legendary and as musicians far better than Oasis.. oasis had better sing along songs, and most importantly they had Liam Gallagher and Noel gallagher. that just made the difference... no offence to anybody, but the lead singer of ocean color scene is gay,, and the time of band they are is a typical lads band like oasis.. and at the time in the 90;s homosexuality was still very much frown upon by such lads

  • B*****ds!

  • now you'll realise the damage done!!!

  • fowler is a legend. great voice great songs.

  • Everybody listen to "Giorno migliore" written by LUNAPOP.

The song is just the same same

  • so people look at me and think "your lovely" and all that muck, but let me tell you i can go, oh yes, if i want to i can ruddy go!! dont you worry about that, il be all over you like a flannel, like cling film round yesterdays meat.

  • One of my favourite bands that I have seen live. Such a great sound and brilliant lyrics .

  • I like this song

  • songs of my youth

  • people keep bangin on about oasis, fuk me,oasis made 1 good album, whats the story morning glory, and half a dozen good singles.ocs are by far a better band, the gallaghers are half decent manc toerags.ocean colour scene are living legends who somehow dont get the credit they deserve.

  • @prizcbh What a twat you are, even if Oasis are overrated the Gallagher's arent scum, how do yah work that one out? they've produced some of the best songs ever heard, and in my opinion far better than the great OCS.

  • @prizcbh who gives a shit, oasis are average these are below average. listen to real music that exists outside the charts and cult shit like this.

  • @united22 what a ridiculous statement!! go and listen to titchy anger of whatever his name is and leave us to debade our "cult" music in peace

  • @prizcbh lets not fuck oasis. definitely maybe is the greatest album ever, WTSMG would be about top 10, you prob never listened to there album the masterplan either. Not dissing OCS though cause i loved there album mosely shoals, one of my fav of the 1990s, they have been more of a live band the last few years rather than a band looking for comercial success.

  • SO UNDERATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED im suprsied no one i ask havent heard of them, there amazing..

  • this song is LEGEND!

  • Saw them live! They were amazing!!

  • F*cking tune!

  • absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "un giorno migliore" is totally different....definitely...

  • @rilevamento not so sure....

  • @rilevamento

I hope your comment is sooo ironic..

  • waaaaaw, great song!!

  • OCS the most underated band of the 90's

  • this band get better and thats impossible to improve on perfection ... love them so much ... i can listen to them 24/7 .... keep the faith

  • I f*cking love this song.....

  • wow

  • 21 will be worth buying i'll pre order it :-)

  • Im going to see Ocean Colour Scene tonight in Manchester : )

  • In Italy this song was totally copied by Lunapop..."Un giorno migliore" and they sold a lot... :-/

  • Yawn

  • yet another brilliant song by another truly amazing british band

  • 1 of my all time fave songs.

  • @delboy20091 only we who like it know what it makes us feel. this music is brilliant

  • when the nightmares come....we get blown away!!!!!!!

  • This is my all time favourite song ever. :-)

  • i do like oasis a lot but there is something extra that ocs have that cant be defined but my god it makes them stand out a mile from anyone else playing this style

  • saw these at an oasis gig at knebworth in 96 top top day

  • @1koops so jealous!

  • i think this is such a wonderful song ...

  • lunapop- un giorno migliore

  • @VUtheclashVU YES!

  • This sounds so familiar even though I've only just now heard it.

  • @SpriteBottleCap

slightly like there own song the day we caught the train

  • hmmmm influenced by Elvis Costello and the Beatles, maybe? I like it. :)

  • a classic tune from thee top band love ocs

  • amzing man brings back great days

  • these and cast never got the recognition they deserve!

  • OCS is for brit pop what Anvil is for metal!!

someday somebody will going to make a movie about ocs to, hhahaha

  • brill song one of the best

  • Great comments,

Im an original mod girl of the 60's, I absolutely love this band and I so admire & respect them, Cradock is amazing!

I finally got to see them play live in March after being a fan for years, Ive seen Weller live a few times recently too and to me its Weller & Cradock I really want to see : )

  • wow, they really sound like the beatles! :)

  • @Emotwilghtlovergirl yeah it does, it sounds like john lennon i reckon

  • Saw this mob at Stiring Castle and they blew the bloody doors off!

  • woow, i love this music.. :)

  • I am looking for the name of the italian band who O.C.S (however good they are) copied considerable melody from, or by equal chance, composed one similar too it). ? YSF

  • @ysfaljanabi maybe you mean "Un giorno migliore" by Lunapop?

  • @nami0090 Yes man! brilliant, thank you very much; now that is what I call knowledge-transfer, and the beauty of the internet! YSF

  • @ysfaljanabi you're welcome^^ I come from Italy and I used to love that song and the group, and now I love the singer, Cesare Cremonini... byebye!

  • @ysfaljanabi im pretty sure this came out before lunapop

  • for my friend alexander :* :) miss you...

  • Is it just me, or does Simon Fowler's voice resemble that of a young Joe Cocker?

  • Thanks to a very late night chatinstance...I found you...my buddy I was chatting with...turned me on to you!!! I never heard you before!! Where have you been all my life?/??

  • the Dipso

Sounds like a shit Mc Cartney derge.

  • hahaha

  • WICKERMAN 2010 BABY !!!!! ^^

  • fckin great....this is why I love British music

  • seen them at the barowlands 26th then rothes hall last month brings back the 10 years ago everytime when a was a lad not a dad drugs and drink were like nappies and bottled milk lol

  • Who gives a fuck about the vids when they produce such good music

  • Seen them at Rothes Halls on thusday, I can't believe they play at such small venues. Superb!

  • seen them 5 times awsome every time, jamesy

  • i do like both Oasis (which for me are no more since Noel left) and OCS and if i have to pick up one of those i would go for the OCS much better but that only my point of view and taste.

  • wot about the verve? for me they all fit together

  • Basically if you just want to produce great music that isn't enough for the british public, you have to be an attention seeking media whore to be accepted

  • It's one of the strangest thing in music that OCS are not the biggest band of our generation, instead everyone shouts about Oasis(generic babble)...I agree there stuff is catchy and somehow appeals to the masses but I think if Cradock and Fowler had a similar ego to the Gallaghers(which somehow ppl like) they would be much much bigger

  • i think they probably never cared about to be huge....the importance is they are huge for people who follow them and love their music even outside the UK ;)

oh and i agree with your comment of course.

  • @drobinson1248 fucking spot on there m8

  • @drobinson1248 I think you're right. The OCS are very low profile, and I prefer them like that!

  • @drobinson1248 i dont know man, it's not like OCS are really experimental. they kind of benefited from Oasis bring back 60s Beatles and Stones rock n roll. And they've toured together. At any rate, we can all agree that no matter how much critics dump on Oasis, OCS and like-minded bands, the UK and US still cannot find any new of all the hyped indie bands, that can capture people the way the 90s bands did.

  • @drobinson1248 ocean colour scene and stereophonics in my opinion two of the most under rated bands... should be as big as oasis for sure

  • @drobinson1248 Oasis packaged themselves better. The music is not better but as you said it was the image.

  • @drobinson1248 its not that oasis is bad, its just they are much more commerically markettable. Its not about the music unfortunatly in that case.

    1. OCS

    2. The Verve

    3. Oasis.

    For me at least...

  • Oasis is a great band, but they are a l bit overrated

  • @drobinson1248 Say what you have just said about Oasis to Craddock and Fowler and I put money on it they would just think you was a complete fucking tit.

  • @drobinson1248 Lets not forget he could actually sing unlike the Gallaghers ;)

  • @drobinson1248 Apparently you didn't account for the fact that other people have opinions.

  • @borislowje Here's a little lesson in 'commenting'. Basically how it works, someone has an opinion, and then others have their say! I don't remember writing 'my word is gospel therefore don't reply'...if you want to throw your 2 cents into the ring then carry on by all means...

  • @drobinson1248 Now come on,i think that is a bit unfair, because oasis have so many great songs, very well written ,i couldn't care for there antics as it was all about the music,OCS are a great band too and write fantastic songs,i think its wrong to compare, unfortunately music is just seen as a business these days,if they think something is going to sell better they will push it till its herd.

  • well in my opinion oasis are way better. ocs are good tho, but oasis have songs for any mood.

  • fuck all of you, their songs are of a better quality than oasis. oasis are very popular but their songs are mainstream and very similiar. ocs are way too underated. i think both bands are very talented but ocs write the better songs...

  • you cant compare them to oasis. oasis had a stream of hits ocean have a couple, like them tho.

  • ocs have loads of hits there just not main stream like oasis, do your homework mate

  • Eh, "As good as Oasis" might be pushing it. I think they have a much different style. These guys are a lot more laid back. Oasis has a little bit of everything.

This is a good band though.

  • i love their new tune margic carpet days :) THIS IS A TUNE! x

  • oasis and blur are good but in the 90's ocean colour scene totally owned. this is one of my fav tunes ever and live is even better

  • i agree

  • Seeing the band in Cardiff in March, seen them live many times since 1997 always put on a great show.

    Looking forward to it.

  • fuckin brilliant man going ta c them on the 2
