Really, are the only magicians you know David and Criss? Try looking up David Copperfield or Lance Burton- those are two of the best, if not the best magicians in the world. David and Criss are both good at what they do however, it actually all comes down to what kind of magic you like.

I agree David Blaine is the best not criss.. this trick is very simple what criss does is before the audience sees the deck he sets it up he places the 4 aces on the top of the deck so when the guy deals them they are at the bottom of the deck that the guy dealed so criss makes you make deal 4 piles, he makes him think that the guy did everything notice how he talks about casinos to make that guy lose attention so when the guy is done making the piles no matter what the 4 aces will be on the top

You make the trick about their success, you tell them that THEY'RE going to become an expert with cards, or whatever. That way it avoids the 'me vs. you' mentality in a lot of performances, and they won't start looking for loopholes to screw you up.
