This is a very underrated game that's still quite playable today. Thank God it's available for the Wii Virtual Console although sadly that version lacks rumble support.

You say a lot of crap in your review. Also from the video you pretty much suck at it. Fzero is actually frustrating and anger inducing when you first pick it up, but stunning visually. Eventually, you get better at the game. Learn how to control the cars better. After some time you get so good at it you can actually try beating it on hard settings, and then it becomes fun. What about multiplayer? You didn't even mention that but it was so much fun with me and my friends back in the day.

@freedomacy yea GX rocks as well. X has amazing heavy riffs though; i love the metal iteration of all the songs that's y it's my favorite, along with the nostalgia. Gameplay wise, GX is absolutely amazing... in fact, eye-shattering

I love F-Zero. I own both F-Zero on the SNES and F-Zero GX for the Gamecube, but I've only ever played this one on an emulator. Regardless, this is a flawless series as far as I'm concerned.

This is the best F-Zero in my opinion, I mean GX would be the best if it weren't for 1 thing, and that is the controls, I mean they are not bad mind you but I really really found it annoying that there wasn't an option to attack using the F-Zero X configuration (press the R button twice to attack to the right, L button twice to the left, press L then R to do the spinning attack) now that is just a small flaw, but for the next F-zero it should be available.

@FastTquick wow your everywhere,I know you mean well and it does make sense but really I think everyone is aware that all games will benefit with HD graphics,but according to this game..graphics dont matter they could have made this game look better but they would have to decrease the number of frames which will take away the sense of speed..graphics is only icing on the cake..most of nintendo's 1st and 2nd party developers produce the games that we want..its the 3rd party that makes the casuals

This is my fav. of all the F-ZERO games released for home consoles(yes there is an arcade version), the SNES ver. never really grabbed my attention, and the GameCube F-ZERO GX was just too F*cking hard, and give me nightmares trying to beat it, and still have not too this day(bought it on release day), and having found this one used at a local game store for $4 was totally awesome. This versions Kicks ASS!!!
