Nah, I like his voice actually. The Maltese Falcon just happened to be the first Lorre film I saw so I have this little image stuck on my head. He still manages to be somewhat creepy in his every role.

This is an adult movie with a complex relationship between Sam Spade and Brigit O' Shaunessy.

The speech Sam gives Miss O at the end of this film is thrilling.

Excellent use of black and white, beautifully photographed.
