David's father is Solomon as I believe. I am not sure if Solmon died in faith but I believe he died in faith since later he realized that God is so powerful and sovereign in whole of our lives. He is creator and we are creatures.
I like how you used these experiences to support biblical statements in the Bible. Solomon was the son of David, right? Amazingly, Solomon asked God to bestow His wisdom upon him, and then he received much more gifts than just wisdom. Sadly, many of his wives and servants had him build false gods. This such wrongdoing was especially glaring in the eyes of God. Did God throw off his name in the Heaven or let him live up there eternally after what he did?

Also want to tell you about your begin of this vlog, Christians should depend on Jesus at first place in their life not friend, husband/wife, family, etc because whenever depend on people instead God then they will trip so easy. I noticed some Christian whenever they get problem, they would run to their close or comfortable people instead God. They knew they are suppose to trust Him and depend on Him as first thing in their life. Amen to your comment about balance with life.
