At my first Verve gig I witnessed 'Mad Richard' wigging out a few feet in front of me at The Venue in Edinburgh. Those were the days! Still got a setlist from that night :D

i dunno if they are necessarily dull these days,they still put on a good show.i saw em play in 97 ,the weekend before urban hymns came out and they were as psychedelic as ever,truly the best performance by a band i ever witnessed.

Agreed this is wonderful. Never seen it before, Richard's voice has just got better and better from these early days. The Verve are awesome from their early beginnings to their recent concert in Germany. Long may they reign as the best group ever.

Absolutely brilliant, they are the only band i adore. I just love all of their music. Richards voice melts me. They are my heroes. To me no other band has their unique style, and rare special talent!!! :D
