1 teraFLOPS = 1 trillion FLoating-point Operations Per Second (10^12 FLOPS).

If you want more details, look it up on Google. It's a benchmark for performance.

SkyNet is actually pretty SLOW at 60 teraFLOPS. Last year Cray reached 1.6 petaFLOPS (1 petaFLOPS = 1000 teraFLOPS). Heck, graphics cards can exceed 1 TeraFLOPS nowadays...

Now in the movie they clearly say "60 TeraFlops per second"... Now that is ridiculous because it's 60 Tera Floating Operations per Second Per second.

It's like: "that car is fast... like 300 mph per hour".
