melly, she is british, she is performing in britain, the judges always have a soft spot for the hosts, look at beijing, nastia liukin should of won bars, and she came second. only after the judges looked at both scores, and the other person was a chinese gymnast, hence she won gold

I agree if it is not in Britain and she will not win , judge put her diffult score the highest but I think Anna and Russan more difficult than her and her routine even do not have spining and her move not graceful either and routine is boring and you can see she is not the best but I am happy for her win as in UK so many people got the hope for her and would like her to win

the judges awarded her a realistic and fair difficulty score for her routine. If youre referring to anna porgras she fluffed more than one of her landings and missed a rotation in one of her spin elements. she was awarded 0.3 less difficulty because of this and because some of her moves failed to meet the requirements to fulfill the difficulty value. Beth won a very high standard floor final fairly and on the day performed her routine the best. Gold is rightfully hers.

Exactly if Ana Pogras had been in the medals, it could be argued that she deserved to win and was robbed, but she wasn't...Lauren Mitchell took silver for a cleaner routine.

excuse me but have you heard what the commentators said about beth tweddle, her bar routine, is the HARDEST in the world, it was marked out of a 7.8 difficulty, .1 higher than nastia, i could see plenty of areas where nastia should of got marks deducted, legs bent, legs coming apart under the bar.

She won the European Championship on floor and bars this year too... she was not in the UK...Ana Pogras had beauty but didn't even make the medals, she was low on difficulty, the Russian made distinct errors......BTW Beth was 4th in Bejing and the British never whinged about the Chinese.
