The storylines in this time period were not only superior to today's "storylines" (there really aren't any) were perfectly fine to people that could understand that wrestling is a show and is not real. To those that think wrestling is an actual real sport or to those that think humor like poopy stuff or SNL-like, unfunny attempts at comedy are better, they would have a problem with this stuff.
