  • Nothing's going to help you when cop point you straight instant on.

  • Amazon does this for $460. Awesome detector but it's pretty pricey. How many times have you got to get caught speeding before it pays for itself!? Just been reading that the GPS feature is well worth the money. Reviews on what radar detector site

  • low price 549.99???

  • The $399 Valentine One detects radar and laser better than the $499.95 Escort 9500ix or the $449.95 Escort 9500i. Great price Al an Ed, you are selling the Escort 9500ix for $50 over what the manufacturer sells it for. I love how Escort talks about their 360 degree protection when they don't have a rear radar antenna like the patented rear radar antenna with arrows on the Valentine One.

  • The 9500i did very well in the Guys Of Lidar Aug. 2007 detector test. The Valentine One was generally the top performer, but the 9500i was very, very close in most of the tests. The V1 is a great detector, but there are getting to be a number of other detectors that also perform well, are more user friendly, and have less false alarms than the V1.

  • @smadamaf Actually the Escort 9500IX does have a rear antenna.

  • @smadamaf, comparing arrows to GPS is like comparing the Roman Army to the American Military. Valentine 1 is definitely more sensitive, and is a better option for highway driving... but when in the city, the 9500ix kills it. Driving in my City with a V1 looks like all arrows being lit, with about 7 bogies constantly on at highway exit ramps.
