@Goldeneye43 Joking aside, in the original official TM timeline (TM1, TM2 and TM Head-On), I'm assuming he can't use his powers for his own direct benefit. That would explain why he can't simply snap his fingers and bring his wife and daughter back to life let alone restore his face. He requires someone else to do the wising for him, hence why in Twisted Metal Head-On he summons his daughter's ghost to participate in the contest so that she can make the wish herself.
