  • love this song

  • I was a victim of sexual assualt. I am 17 now, and it started ten years ago and ended seven years ago. Thanks so much for everything you do. I live in Wyoming, and this song, and Coalition across the nation are forever in my gratitude, Thank you for everything you did. Juli Cartwright

  • whose this about

  • @janek7135226 male rape awarness

  • As a male Asexual/Heterosexual victim of Gang Rape & Torture at Gunpoint in August 1979 then at the age of 23, I can't say this video does a damned thing for me. And no I'm not trying to be indifferent to this video. Can't say I'm a Rap person either. Rape & Incest shatters and mangles a victims soul for life. Few men find their sanity or are lucky enough to find professional resources adept enough to help them out of their misery, only to have a soul that is lost in the neither world.

  • My mom picked up this CD for me over 10 years ago from the local PCAR. I'm a survivor, thanks to her and this CD. Check it out on their site, for real. This is from Xpose: The Truth. They have another one called Pulse. They are both amazing.

  • God, I hate rap! But this was amazing and brought tears to my eyes. Very powerful. Great job.

  • As a male survivor, this video is incredibly empowering!!!

  • not just an important topic, but a good song, too. often these "i have a good message" rap songs are, unfortunately, not as good as the stuff that poisons are minds. but this song can stand with the rest of em. it's awesome!!!! 5 stars

  • Thank you I wish I had found this video in time to save my 17yrs old son Nick See web-site in the nick of time . org or stop teen suicide youtube

  • @janek7135226 not the best metaphor considering the message is not to take rape lightly…

  • @tylerk128

Thank you for being a part of it! I absolutely love this CD, and this video/song.

  • Who is.the rapper? Amazing well done video. Made me cry. If a true story of his life my thoughts are with him. I am left wondering what the outcome was. A video follow up would be a great idea.

  • @CatpurrRobertaBobbi

    His name is I.B.

  • Who doesn't believe in male childhood sexual abuse?

  • ive lost most of my childhood too :( same shit and multiple rape conditions :( cant forget that ever ever and wow i dont wanna get fixed becuz i got nothing wrong !

  • Great video and song. It is about time that someone speak out about this devestating problem in our society. I was a victim of sexual abuse and still find it extremely hard to talk about. This video is helping me in my healing process. Thanks and may God bless you.

  • this video really touched my heart because i myself was molested as a small boy for years...and to me it like i never had a childhood because i grew up to fast. i would do anything to go back in time and relive it

  • this video really touched my heart because i myself was molested as a small boy for years...and to me it like i never had a childhood because i grew up to fast. i would do anything to go back in time and relive it

  • yall keep up the good work here! ya hear!!

  • That little boy is my foster brother Tyler Malloy.

  • I love this, thank you.

  • Normally, I cant stand rap. I am a rape/incest victim. I am 26, and the abuse ended 13 years ago. It started 20 years ago. The memories will never go away. Your song is tremendous. It describes so much. Thank you. I live in Maine, and I want you to know that you touched someone hundreds of miles away. Thank you.

  • Thanks for this video, guys. You're doing important work in getting the message out! Keep it up.

  • One of the hardest things is the wedge it drives between you and women. Most girls get more support from their friends for having to write a mid-term than Ive ever gotten from years of this kinda thing. Its hard enough to overcome this all yourself, but then be called heartless by all of your partners because you cant take trivial neediness seriously... Its a permanent wedge

  • Well, it's not you who is heartless. That's just self-centered and...well there are no words. My heart goes out to you. We're not all needy, neurotic, brats. I promise.

  • Thanks....

  • You're welcome....

  • Umm...what are you thanking me for by the way?

  • Saying that I am not heartless

  • He goes by I.B. and he's based in Central Pennsylvania

  • bato2 - Have you ever been abused? Do you personally know anyone who has? If you have answered no to both - then you need to realize that you are no authority on the matter. All you are doing is hypothesizing! I happen to be one who has been raped and I know MANY other males who have! Therefore, I speak on what I KNOW, not guessing or denying reality. Male on male rape is NOT RARE, so please stop it already!

  • BATO2- Sorry, your facts are not correct... Male rape is far more prevelant but because males are far less likely to come forth (for fear of being seeing as less of a man or gay), it's damn near impossible to know just how high the numbers really are. In fact, the only males that are likely to report male rape are those who are openly gay but what about those many who are straight?

  • Sexual violence can and does happen to males. Men and boys are sexually assaulted and molested every day in the United States. However, false assumptions, popular stereotypes, and the belief that men are immune from sexual assault help us ignore the fact of male rape. This ignorance adds to the shame and isolation of male victims. Regardless of gender, rape is never the victim's fault

  • that video was very well done.. good job !

  • I think it is time for all society to wake and realize that little boys do get sexually abuse too. sadly, the figure is higher then anyone wants to admit. Men deserve to heal too!

  • Thank you for making this video.

  • who is "our" boys? can you back up your claim?

  • 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted by age 18.

Finkelhor, David, Hotaling, G., Lewis, I., Smith, C. "Sexual Abuse in a National Survey of Adult Men and Women: Prevalence, Characteristics, and Risk Factors." Child Abuse and Neglect, Vol. 14, pp. 19-28, 1990.

  • Thanks. Much of my work deals with the neglect of male sexual abuse victims. I just try to get people to recognize the difference between their opinion and documented evidence, as you have done.

  • Thank you PCAR, for all that you do!

  • Male rape is a trajedy that most people are not willing to accept as reality. It's good to bring the facts to the surface.

  • Awesome - well done, excellent words, music and feeling. You are raising consciousness and healing wounds with your Art.

  • I must say, that I am so pleased at this work. I am happfor all the organisations that recognise rape as a gender neutral issue. I was ganged raped when I was 17 myself by four dudes in West Hollywood. It was a horror show I shall never forget for the rest of my life! Please keep up the excellent work and consciousness raisng!

  • SAd but true...Truth has to prevail..No more secrets or shame.

  • This video has tears welling in my eyes. I Lived through the abuse. I guess that makes me one of the 1 of 6 (although I hate being referred to by numer;-) However I don't believe so much in pride as I do rights. Rights always trump pride!

  • they showed this in my school. wow!

  • Stupidguy85, I think the video is about the sexual abuse affecting a young child who grows to a teen and then to a man with no one to talk about the trauma with. The emotional pain is there everyday like some sneering mocker reminding you of a time when you were weak, but the man is learning how to cope and thrive in spite of the voices and images in his mind.

Sexual abuse is one of the worst ways to deeply disrespect someone regardless of gender or age.

  • Great job from one who knows that type of childhood.

  • When i read the description and it talked about male rape, I thought that they would actually touch the subject. Male rape doesn't happen only to innocent defenseless little boys, It happens to strong young man as well. Being a man doesn't mean, being almighty and you can't fight every one to defend yourself. This video is not objective at all.

  • He's telling HIS story, there are a lot of stories. The message was clear and very powerful, for those with the common sense to understand.

  • bro your my hero

  • No Means No. Thanks for sharing our story.

    1luv.

  • Awesome message

  • That was beautiful. More people need to take a stand against abuse towards all genders, ages, races, everyone!

  • Well done for putting that together.

  • Wow, that's really insightful and really touching, they really did a fantastic job with this.

  • A great song, powerful even. Not many artists attack this subject let alone abuse towards men, young and old. I hope more comes of this being a survivor myself.

  • It's sad that some kids do live in that kind of enviroment and are too afraid to speak up.

  • Oh my. This is so hard to watch. I pray day after day that my boys will NEVER experience this and I'll be damn sure it doesnt. Thanks for sharing this. :(

  • Real! Says a lot! Tells a story people need to know about!! Thanks!!
