  • 'these climbers put out alot' lolololol:)

  • ..... Have you ever even tried it?

  • go to your nearest climbing gym. find a V1 boulder, and see if you can complete it.

these are definitely V10 and up climbs.

  • yeh.. me neather

  • @penguinational hahahahaha wait, there is more. hahahahahah!

  • I just love it how Paul Robinson is on problem number 2 and you can totally see him watching Chris climb number 3 lol

  • disqualified! lol

  • *well if u climb on climbing wall not just for training u have missed climbing*

  • thats right :D

  • if you climb for competition, you missed climbing

  • climbing is what you make it.

  • that's very deep

  • I got a negative response for asking if sharma is really the best! I guess there's a sharma supporter out there who doesn't like me saying there are better climbers.

  • lol

whos the camp nob on the begining.

    lets hear iittt :P

  • does sharma really win everytime? I've seen a lot of climbers who appear to be on the same level.

  • He doesn't win every time at all. He's getting a little older, needs to train for the problems he's working. Also, he has a very particular style: relatively large holds very far apart. He attributes this to his size (also relatively large in climbing terms). There are other climbers who are similarly strong, mostly in different ways. Not American, so we don't pay that much attention. Graham is obviously first rate, but Ramonet is very strong, and Yuji Hirayama.

  • In terms of bigger climbers, there are others, Andrada is VERY strong, though I don't think he's as technically inclined, even the oft maligned Fred Rhouling is VERY strong. Considering his age, Fred Nicole is INSANE strong, (still opening V15/16 problems well past 30).

On the American side, Daniel Woods is very, very strong as is Paul Robinson. Either of these guys consistently are competitive against Sharma in climbing events.

  • I would say that Patxi Usobiaga and Adam Ondra are both more technically skilled than Sharma, and probably equally strong. They both seem to need less attempts to send a hard route than Sharma. And Ondra (a Harry Potter look-alike) is only 15, so he's already getting huge publicity in Europe as the next big rock star of the climbing world. However, neither of these guys go around sending the new hardest route in the world, the way Sharma routinely does, so it's hard to say they're "better."

  • Well Andrada has climbed F9b, the same as Sharma has, and Paxti has onsighted F8c+, which Sharma has not. To be honest I think Sharma is having his swansong with routes like Jumbo Love and Golpe Estalos (or something... the F9b he just sent, the onw you see on Dosage 5). He's maybe got a couple of years at the top level left, but no more. he's too old, the new generation is as good now, and are only getting better, where he will get worse.

  • sharma is getting better every time and too old i dont think so look at dani andrada he is in the 40´s and still climbs 9b so you will see hi more than a couple of years at top level

  • Woohoo!!
