  • JUST USE ORANGE OIL SPRAY

  • wat the hell u just keep ur damn hand there and get it eating off prick

  • @shanesasha1 Does no one use sentences anymore?

  • @f00barbob SHUT UP *:(

  • I get rid of them using phermitrin I think that's how you spell it, but anyway you can buy this chemical at any feed store near you, for les than $10. for the small container and you can make lots of this pesticide, its a concentrated chemical that you have to delute in water. I spray it around all my slab, sidewalks, trees and everywhere I can, just becarefull and read the instructions before you use it, can someone posts any other methods that have worked for them other than pest ct.

  • The only the stuff that works is the most expensive. Termidor costs a pest control guy around $100 a quart. They had to create new label laws just to let people use Termidor for these ants. Regular consumer can buy anything online, including Termidor.

  • The chemical's name is Termidor and yes you need a pest control license to buy it.

  • These little crazy ants are nesting in my alarm clock. These don't look like the kind of ants that are wreaking havoc on my electronic equipment, but they are "crazy". I think more problems like these will crop up around the country more and more.

  • crazy ants and oil i'm not sure is going to deter them. after all, one of their food sources is grease.

  • shit man the only thing that kills them is termodore and you cant get your hands on it with oute a licens

  • dude wth is thermodore? haha thats the first ive heard of it

  • Although motor oil might work at stopping ants, I'm not so sure entire city's worth of people pouring motor oil into the ground is really the wisest of moves.

  • when i want to deny an area to ants, i use motor oil. a ring of oil around a post will prevent them from going up into mailboxes, birdfeeders, lights. this works with most ants - never had to try with CR ants yet. i don't know how practical filling long, 1/4" wide trenches with oil would be for protecting a structure though.

  • LOL.. well if that doesnt do it we can set the moat on fire...

  • The reason you won't find Rasberry Ants in wikipedia is because they are named after the exterminator that discovered them in Houston, Tom Raspberry, in 2002. They are very real and eat fire ants, but mulitply faster. No over the counter poison kills them.

  • The rasberry ants are getting into my house. I have a fire ant problem in my yard and am working on taking care of that problem. I figure if I get rid of the fire ants the rasberry ants will go away (since rasberry ants eat fire ants).

  • absolutely not. They don't just eat fire ants, they eat just about anything they can. They'll be a much worse problem than fire ants if you let them be.

  • @texasalien2 I doubt that will work. Ants like this dont have a hard time finding food. Fire ants eat termites and Texas is equally infested with both.

  • jajaja that tikcle ^.^

  • I live in San Antonio and I first spotted these ants in early July. They tried to take over my car and created a "mound" under the passenger side floor mat.

  • Ants can't swim, but they can float together in huge groups until they hit land. It happens.

  • They are real, and very invasive. No one yet knows where they came from. They multiply much faster than fire ants. The exterminator, after whom they were named eradicated an acre only to come back a month later to find the ground covered 2" deep in ants. Their menace is in their sheer numbers. The South American species that is a close relative has been known to smother small animals by just swarming over them. Imagine what would happen to a baby in a crib.

  • omfg

  • WHY?????

  • I hope that dude washed his hands before he ate anything.

  • Did you know these bastards eat ELECTRONICS? I'm not shitting you, I've looked it up on Google.

  • yea it's true

  • wat??

  • Thats bullshit, ants are just searching a worm place, so the electronics get worm when they on and the ants go there and get a electrical shock. When there is enough dead ants that device dont work anymore...

  • Untrue. There are various reports stating these ants have annihilated electronics such as wall-outlets, computer monitors and CPUs.

  • They are not destroying those electronics on purpose. They just go in those devices and make accidentaly a short circuit... (Sorry my english is not very good... :S )

  • I wonder what they get from 'eating' electronics? Can't be their food source, can it?

  • They are not eating electronics, they are just worming up in those things..

  • I ain't seen shit.

  • I see why they call them crazy.

  • *Unreal tournament voice*

    HOLY SHIT

  • I dont get how some people can just stick their hands in there, there are so many and so fast, they could run up ur arm then down ur shirt, into ur pants then up ur legs into ur boxers.

  • hes just a dumb guy. after hes done he shakes his hand off like thatll do anything. sorry pal, but it wont. ur gonna have a bunch of red spots tomorrow ole man

  • Actually rasberry ants dont bite they just run in all directions like complete idiots :)

  • i looked up rasberry ant on wikipedia and came up with nothing. these are probably jsut plain old sugar ants. i doubt rasberry ants are even real

  • you trusted wikipedia?? lol....nope, not sugar ants...they are a real problem down here in texas as they get into any electronic device and even eat other insects like fire ants

  • Why are they so fast?

  • OH HELL NO.

  • they're disgusting!

  • Im glad ants cant swim, i guess my new computer is safe... for now

  • Your computer can swim?

  • Erm no, i just dont live on the american continent

  • Ants can group together to form floating rafts, they were one factor slowing down hurricane Katrina rescue workers.

  • well i hope they dont find england

  • .... ants vs huge ship. Who wins?

  • the ant.

  • LOL

  • Oh, my god, I'm looking for yummy rasberries, and I stumble upon this. It's so disgusting, I don't want to eat another rasberry ever again.
