  • Nice, could see the bands of Jupiter

  • @starsoffyre the bands of jupiter are so thin you can't see them using a normal telescope, they are even very hard to see using a very large one.

  • @opibat1980

Well, the north and south equatorial belts are visible in your video.

  • @starsoffyre very thiny then but it's not my video ^^

  • @opibat1980

Oops, I just realised that lol

  • Yes. I`ve used IR/UV filter for better sharpness. What eyepieces have you got?

  • Oh, now I read that you used an IR filter.

  • Did you use any filters? I also have 4,5" Newton (I bought it a couple of days ago), but the kit eyepieces are not good- for instance I see Jupiter like a bright spot with red and blue distortions of light around him and the zoom is 150x only. I'm going to get some qualitative eyepieces and the Barlow lens for maximum zoom and good details.

  • It is a dirty camera chip.

  • What is that dark spot on Jupiter 0.06 you see it.

  • Thank you, but I have recorded this video vith bad settings.

  • thats nice
