For the record, we didn't win Vietnam nor did we surrender. We replaced our units with south Vietnamese soldiers so that they could defend themselves. Unfortunately they were poorly trained and fell not too long after we left. America only went to Vietnam because the South wanted a Democracy and the North wanted to shove Communism on them. So we went to protect the interests of the south.
