@parkerphil20 it means when the screen is completely black, and slowly the picture comes up. instead of *POP!* and fade out is when the movie slowly gets darker, until its all black, then credits.
Hi Tony Ramirez. Your tutorial gives me an idea. I was a going to write a screenplay, but now I'm going to start a software company to develop a program that can totally automate the FADE IN process with colors, banners, marquees and even 3-D. I think I'm going to be rich and famous. So what do you think, Tony?
ok it took a while but i managed to type ''FADE IN:'' but i can't find the enter key, could you please do a tutorial on where to find it on the keyboard, thanks. FFS SERIOUSLY WTF IS THIS?!?!?!
Thank goodness for this video. Without it, I never would have been able to write "FADE IN." I thought the title implied learning how to get into actually writing a script, not just writing "FADE IN." Geez.
Great tips. Hey, for everyone out there that likes to make movies, I want to be a film composer, so if you guys need a composer, contact me and I'll help you guys out on the music part of your film. Some of my music is on my weebly site, which I have the link on my youtube channel. Check it out. Thanks.
I learned geez people! Anyways I love to write and I decide that screenplay suits me and I KNEW NOTHING so if you already know then congrats you should have gotten out of the video like seconds ago then!
those types of details aren't the screenwriter's responsibility. Although many screenwriters will add details like FADE FROM WHITE: many readers don't appreciate said details. Most readers don't even appreciate FADE IN or CUT TO as those are edits; in the same sense that screenwriters shouldn't write what type of shot is being used as thats the director's call.
stop being hard on this guy, you need to know how to write this on a screenplay, which is why you clicked on this video write?
