  • is that not a result of inflexibility? I know my foot moves like that after impact. I usually, especially when using my 3 hybrid, go ahead and open my left foot a little upon address.

  • @remmy100 I wouldn't say that. I think it's merely the the result of the hips reaching the point were they can't turn without straightening the left leg. when that happens quickly the left foot does tend to move a little. flaring the left foot open allows you to have the left leg bent longer thus keeping the left foot more on the ground. anthony kim almost has his feet toed in.

  • @llojsan - Good comment, but your both actually right. It is to do with lack of flexibility in the muscles involved in internal hip rotation -check out the titleist mytpi hip windshield wiper test.

    Many people fail the test hence the abundance of moving left feet.

    Bottom line is: flare thw left foot open and work on flexibility
