Dash 7 landing at Courchevel

YOu picked an unrealistick plane and u stoped halfway even thoutgh the runway is way smaller than this plane would need..its pointless

@bajesus666 u do realize that's freeware aircraft right just some noob posting that plane on the net if there was no payware addons for flight simulator i would not of bought it besides he has his settings on fake put them o max and the aircraft was stress out and crash

@bleedadream777 with actual flight experience, no aircraft, even high quality payware, feels like the real deal. 1.) no 360 degree view. 2.) no feedback on the controls 3.) no physical effects on the body which makes up 60% of all flight training. 4.) the aircraft stress setting is totally awful. And this could very easily happen in real life if his speed and weight was correct.

@bajesus666 i dont believe u at all man i fly planes from pmdg level d flight 1 those have been tested and flown by real pilots and even retired pilots themselves go back to flying with the sim and said its just like flying the real thing and as for the viewing use track ir as for the physical effects ya thats impossible to happen on a sim

That's no joke, in the late 80's Tyrolean airways did charterflights from Innsbruck

and from Paris to Courchevel with Dash 7.

When you see the airport you cant believe that,but its really the truth.

Nice video, tire smoke on landing is very exaggerated. In reality there is only a very tiny whiff of smoke.

i assume the smoke is from applying the brakes because it is such a short runway.

Brakes do not generate smoke. Have you ever seen a car with smoking brakes? Brake discs are made of steel and brake pads used to be made of asbestos and are now made of something else that does not ignite.

The smoke effect may be OK for a jet airliner but smaller turboprops simply don't generate that much smoke on landing.

Your right. They generally dont. But Locking the brakes up by landing with them on does generate smoke..

Weather your flying a cessna or dash8. Its all about weight. Nothing to do with the type of engine.. brakes do generate smoke..

Excuse Me but are you referring to the Dash 7 as an "Ugly plane"? If you are then you need to Seriously get yourself checked out b/c that is one Very nice STOL plane! If you have ever seen one in Real Life, meaning not from Flight Sim, and have gone in one then you would understand.
