and he got his psp3k hacked and got briked by flash recovery or something,

and he probably thought that swapping the chip or mobo WOULD unbrick his psp3k

which it did unbrick his psp3K BUT then u gonna loose your psp2k so is gonna be useless doingg this shit.

Most hacked PSPs are not even used for game pirating. It's more or less homebrew content or other custom applications. I blame Sony for not making it a bit more customizable. When will they learn? Why NOT allow the creation of mini-games, custom emulators and applications? Modding has been huge since computers began! Why NOT give us what we want?! Shame on you Sony.

yes psp 3000 cannot be hacked. Everything in PSP 3000 is digital sign like Microsoft. Sony can easily detect which one can be hacked and limits the ability of that hacked psp.

Don't you understand? If you change some hardware on the new PSP3000 to make it look like it is a psp2000 it WILL work.

just swap everything until you got assembled again the former psp2000 to make that true. I think every piece of hardware, including the lcd, works with different code, that includes CPU, mobo, firmware and lcd. Just leaks of all specs (data sheets) could help to reverse engineering these.

The datel battery just puts the psp into service mode. In which it CANT be hacked. the new 2000 motherboard can be set in service mode but still hasnt been hacked. the battery is one big scam. You cant install cfw properly on the psp3000 and latest 2000 motherboard

Not a truely hacked PSP 3K more like a PSP 2999... He replaced the CPU w/the new security with a 2K CPU. So all the "benefits" of a 3K, but bye bye security. Meaning the security is not cracked, but requires a hard mod and 2 PSPs (One old for a sacrifice and One new to be "down graded")

Try this trick..put your PSP in the web browser and press down HOLD(at the Power switch) Analog still works even on hold.
