  • 0:42 get away from her you BITCH

  • omg how fucking lame

  • This one of the worst movies i think i've sat through. It's got attemps at scary but it seems to be mostley a comody. Also, the stop-motion is atrocious.

  • @Themaniacnextdoor Not the best example of good stop-motion, but this movie still entertains on a camp level.

  • I love this movie guy's i still have the movie but there some part that are a little dumb. But the T-Rex roar is alway's a classic to me.

  • 0:40

Did james Cameron remember this when writing ALIENS ? ;-))

  • I noticed the music from Godzilla vs. King Kong in the trailer. I used to watch this movie a lot when I was little.

  • was that miranda crosgrove at 0:32? omg she time traveled!

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • This is the TRUE Jurassic Park! lol

  • "Beyond anything your mind can imagine"

    Gee, thanks for the insult!

  • LOVED this movie when I was a kid! I used to wish I could have my ridable dinosaur and caveman body guard! I think this movie was actually the inspiration for a buch of sci-fi over the years... Like using construction machinery to fight the creature being used in Aliens!

  • I remember reading this movie's comic book over and over again when I was 8,

thinking this must be the most amazing film of all time. Finally saw the flick when I was around 11; some campy fun, but by then I could recognize a low budget.

  • wow, off by 5 millioon and 50 years much?

  • @thortun15 Haha, that´s what I thought so miraculous too XD

  • Part of this sequence was actually used in an episode of 'Gilligan's Island' in a dream Gilligan has when he sees himself as a caveman.

  • I love how these old trailers give away pretty much the entire plot.

  • I must have rewinded between 0:32 and 0:34 15 times just then.....

  • @willcro1234 lookig at beefcake Mr. caveman ay? yeah if i were gay / a chick i'd go for that.

  • i hated this film when i first watched it it scared me seen as i was only about 5 at the time

  • i wouldnt think this is like jurassic park but it looks like a nice dino movie, the effects are great for the time, especialy the puppet

  • the music reminds me of the soundtrack from King Kong vs. Godzilla...

  • @Armonica2332 It is, but the music was originally from Creature From The Black Lagoon, and allegedly written by Henry Mancini.

The Japanese version of KKVG has a different soundtrack.

  • this movie amuse me:))

  • In der deutschen Version hatte der Film den coolen Namen "Mördersaurier".

  • the stop motion animation is still impressive going to see this movie on line soon!

  • Classic. Total classic. Nothing like shlock b-movies from the 50s and 60s!

  • Loved it as a kid. EFX are crude by today's standards. But the guy who played the cave man looked like a genuine Neanderthal. Who was he?

  • I believe I read in an interview that Michael Crichton was influenced to write Jurassic Park by two dinosaur movies of his youth: this film and Gorgo (1961). So perhaps the jeep scene in JP is a tribute to this movie.

  • I remember watching this as a kid.....I also remember lots of sleepless nights due to that t-rex!

  • omg this is shit i watch one from 1948 yes 1948 in colour look it up Unknown Island (1948)

  • When I was a kid, this movie scared the absolute crap out of me! It's the T-rex's roar, and the way it moves...

  • Damn, I have this on VHS!!!

  • Lou Ferigno = cave man? (spelling fail)

  • was that the professor on the back-hoe? if so where is the skipper, gilligian, and mary tyler moore?

  • uuuuuhhhh! so scaaarrrryyyyy :D COOL

  • Anyone notice the "revenge of the creature" music?

  • that music was also used in tarantula, it is a therimen that was used in many movies

  • 0:23 inspiration for Michael Chricton/Steven Speilberg...0:27 insiration for Joe Johnston in JPIII

0:55 inspiration for the JP1 Rex last roar when atckng jeep and JPIII Spino in the lake

  • I didn't like the caveman part of the movie. Liked the rest.

  • That caveman riding on the back of that bronosarus looks like that dude from the Geico commericals.

  • great trailer!

  • Oh wow! I've been looking all over for this movie, I love it as a kid.

  • try amazon website dragonguy82!

  • The caveman in this owns it.I wish there was a video here hilighting the Caveman.Still funny.

  • I had this movie as a kid, wonder if its still in my parents house

  • spike674 you are lucky i have to buy the dvd at amazon!

  • Unfortuntly its not, and it was a VHS anyway

  • they have the dvd at walmart website!

  • Yep its on my list, mainly for the nastalgia of watching something i loved so much as a kid

  • me too!

  • impressive stop motion animation movie looks good!

  • this was one of my favorite movies when i was a kid - i was always a fan of the t-rex!

  • rotfl. i own the vhs of this movie. it's awesome!!!

  • Actually saw this movie as a kid. I was fascinated and sat though 3 showings in the theater until my mother came and got me. Saw it again a few years ago. It's unbelievably cheesy, with low grade EFX. But I love stop action and it's still watchable , if you accept how low budget it is.

  • lucky i have to rent this movie!

  • omg you know how lame this is

  • That is some good stop motion! i would actually like to see this!!

  • Lame. Godzilla was more intricate than that!

  • LULZ

  • I wish mystery science theater 3000 was still on the air so they can tease this movie.

  • yeah that would be funny antchilli84!

  • the one disappointment i had in the Jurassic park movies (aside from ploot holes you could drive a truck through) was there was no t-rex vs a back hoe scenes. how cool would that have been with modern fx

  • impressive stop motion animation reminds me of planet of the dinosaurs 1978!

  • The excavator vs t-rex @ 0:41 must have inspired carnosaur.

  • 60's movies sucks nut watever

  • Considering that it was 1960, this is pretty good. There are a lot of "Jurassic Park" similarities.

    (Rest In Peace, Michael Crichton)

  • is this movie bloody or scary is it a hoorer movie if itsnt then im so buying it

  • Not bloody, scary or much horror...it's really like a poor mans Jurassic Park. but if you like fun campy 1960 stop-go animation, then you'd like it.

  • That's what I thought, so they could nor of ripped the JP movie off this if the book was written after this. So no JP was not based on this it was based on the book, DUH!

  • Well, why not? If Crichton wrote the original novel years after this movie came out, it's possible (albeit not likely) that Dinosaurus! was one of his inspirations. But even then, he'd hardly be "ripping it off," since the only thing they have in common is dinosaurs on an island. Otherwise they're totally different stories.

  • i no, i read a synopilis on this movie, it is SO much different then JP!

  • Does anyone know when the actual jurassic park novel was written? Or has anyone actually seen this film? Please reply.

  • Michael Crichton wrote Jurassic Park around 1990 i guess.

  • yes i own this on vhs

  • that t rex looks sooo fake it looks like its made of rubber.

  • Probably because it is. They're puppets.

  • hahahaha.

  • 0:41 a theme from king kong vs godzilla

  • that theme is also in many other godzilla movies.

  • this was one of my first movies i ever saw and one of my favs

  • Universal loved whoring out their "Creature From The Black Lagoon" music, didn't they?

  • Wow that is hilarious

  • I would h8 for it to be real, but i've seen ALOT of vids that show things that are in JP, before JP came out so...
