  • ATI Radeon 3200 for x100e can decode Blue Ray Movies, I try this test using cyberlink BD Advisor - all this graphics pass their requirements. Furthermore battery life may depends on the applications, brightness or features preferred by customers.

  • Please take note that lenovo does not recommend to use above 4GB of RAM for 32 bit OS, if you prefer to do that - then take all the risk..hahahaha

  • I got this Lenovo X100e as well, for me this a incredible notebook, pretty much choose for those people who just started their business. This ultra portable note is unlike the other notebook - internet connection modems are built in (i.e. wifi, wimax, bluetooth). My thinkpad x100e has built-in Qualcomm Gobi 2000 - may not be available in some models. With Gobi 2000 built on thinkpad x100e I can surf using 3G/HSDPA/EDGE/UMTS - and major RF bands globally. In addition Gobi 2000 has standalone GPS

  • One easy to remove panel to access the memory, hard drive, fan assembly, and wireless cards?

I hope you're taking notes, Asus and Hewlett-Packard.

  • any luck with the broadcom?

  • Did it work with the braodcom card ? Or is the slot only for the umts/3G card ? Any date when the dual core modells come (more specific then q1 2010) ?

  • @Novo84 I am still waiting for another Broadcom card to arrive to test that slot. Might not get it in time to test. No more specific dates for the dual-core models.

  • @netbooked okay thanks. Oh and for the hdd removal just lift the black plastic thing directly over the sata port... -the port will go up as well (with the hdd) its some kind of plug which fixes to the sata pins on the mainboard. had that very often in the last time like that in acer hp and compaq laptops.

  • I know a 64 bit os will accept 8gb of ram like you said but will the MoBo?

    Great video.

  • it should, you can customize from their site up to 6GB or RAM, it would be very weird if there were a limitation in th BIOS, as those days are long gone. BTW, you can have 6-8GB or RAM with a 32-bit OS too, it will just be a wast as it would only address 4GB - address space for devices

  • so far i've heard the X100e max ram is 4GB? but others say 8GB? i don't know but i sure hope it can take 8GB the AMD cpu in this is 64-bit yes? would like to install XPx64 on this

  • Nice...strange, looks like they ship it with the 3g module anyway LOL

  • Cool thanks for the fast response with this Video!

    Questions remain for me:

Noise in different load stages? Idle/Load/HD/Game

How long will the battery keep the x100e alive ?

    Thanks again!

  • @Novo84 Surprisingly quiet even in any of the above situations.

Battery life? I just managed 3 hours, 10 mins web surfing with Wi-Fi on... not that good.

  • Hi there, seeing as this is a Lenovo, im pretty sure ther eis 6 to 9-cell batterys out there yes ?? damn 3 hours? this is a netbook not a laptop lol

  • Can you say anything about the fan noise please?

    Thank you for the video!

  • @FlipFlopFliege It has been pretty quiet so far.

  • yes, that's quite bad, interesting with a SSD how for it will go...
