the bird was originally going to take sonic to its nest to feed him to the bird's mutant babies but sonic jumped off at the right time :D i hate elise... she is useless, creepy, the whole reason for a crappy game...also *SPOILER ALERT* in the end she blows out the flames of disaster BEFORE they become the flames of disaster...so basicly....all the crap you did was for nothing and you could have prevented the torture by blowing out the flames in the first place...silly sega :P

@HellfireComms Well, I wouldn't really care one way or another about the boost... the Quick Step, Stomp, and midair maneuverability are what are REALLY important for on-rails segments. (And Stomp is only important so that you can get to the ground quickly if you mistimed a jump... kind of like the Jump Cancel from Sonic and the Secret Rings.)

It's strange, in Devil May Cry 3 there is a section of the game where you have to complete three trials to continue, Intelligence, Courage and Skill.

Sonic's and DMC's test of Intelligence are exactly the same, while Courage is similar, and then there's Love which is just random.

Is that some sort of reference to some ancient story or something? Especially seeing as alot of DMC is based on myths and legends.

The 2 second scenes were the best part of the game. The test of love, should have been the test of bestiality. This test proves what the theme of this game was, if you follow the story Sega's intent was for you to pick Elise. Also Sonic never really loved Amy. Based on the date they released Sonic and the Black Knight, Sega is setting up for a Sonic 2009, hope I'm wrong on this though.
