  • Garcian is da worst he is a traitor and a pussy plus he killed the best guy in da game (mask de smith) which made me even more pissed off so Garcian suck my left nut

  • this end almost makes me cry poor Garcian =(

  • I don't get it.

  • @Cruelruin0 he had seven personalities based on the people he killed.

  • @damonkatumaru I do get this, but I think the whole the thing is much more complicated.

  • @Cruelruin0 That part is politics,,,no one really understand that part, which is why some frown twords the game.

  • What a jackass. Why did he shoot his mouth? last time I checked the brain wasn't in the mouth LOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @Doodorz if u aim up when u put the gun in your head it will go to the brain u dumbass

  • @eldiablo68 He hit the back of his throat you fucking retard. How about actually watch the mother fucking video before trying to start shit you mexican piece of fucking dog shit.

  • @Doodorz wat ever i watched the video anyways asshole

  • @Doodorz And where do you think the nerves responding to your brain go, you fucking twat? Instant braindeath and bleeding out.

  • You should have included the credits.

I love the music so much.

  • "IT'S ALL A MISUNDERSTANDING, UHH."

  • Those guys probably meant a lot to him considering that he doesn't have any friends.

But Emir killing himself made Garcian realise just who he was and that since the 3rd eye closed he came into synch with Emir . Notice how Garcian suddenly changes tone in this scene? Becuase hes actually a human again now instead of a psychological being and realises that he killed the 7 in the past. It's just like they say a lot in the game that the Killer7 are monsters, freaks or whatever and are not human

  • killer 7.......never beat it....but damn i wish i can go back and give it another try so i can understand wut the fuck just happened

  • @Popnlock11 There's a lot of symbolism in this game. I mean it's hard to describe what everything means, since there's a lot of Japanese AND English symbolism, that both countries still have yet to decipher.

  • you should have left it a bit longer. the music coming in with the credits is awesome.

  • I think that, based off of the way garcian reacted to opening the suitcase and how he needs the disembodied heads of the killer 7 to revive them, there wasn't supposed to be weapons in that suitcase.

  • @ajnutable The suitcase thing always has me confused, mostly because he open it to get the heads and he has it open during a cutscene in encounter, he should be able to see them, but after learning deeper into killer 7, his mind probably blocked him from seeing the guns.

  • I took it as Emir being born with the power of reincarnation, killed his mother(after she came onto him) and then went on to become a trained assasin at Harman's school. Skip to the hotel, he kills all of the Smiths and after doing so and realizing that harman was among them, he kills himself to end it however he is reborn as Garcian who absorbed the essence, souls, and memories of the Killer 7 into his being which allowed them to exist inside him.

  • @Shadowalkeracs After awhile Harman escaped from Garcian's body and left the Killer 7 up to him. Then after finding the golden gun, and the truth Garcian had no choice but to shed all of the persona(s) that he had absorbed thus killing the Killer 7 once again. However I feel like with his realization of what he was, his power of reincarnation must have kicked in again thus allowing the others to be reborn. That could be wishful thinking but yeah. And Harman who had escaped, probably rejoined

  • @Shadowalkeracs With his other selves in order to take on Kun Lan in the future

  • that ending mind fucked me

  • plot>mind=mind rape

  • im still so confused!!!!!!!

  • OK explai to me everythingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!! please

  • who says videogames can't be high art

  • suda51 is a genius. I picked up No More Heroes recently. Haven't had a chance to play it, but I know I'm in for one hell of a trip.

  • @falariem

NMH is nowhere near as dark, but it's every bit as complex.

NMH is more of a social satire, albeit a primarily lighthearted one, whereas K7 is the polar opposite.

  • @xxHazyShadowsxx True my man true

  • @falariem whf are you waiting for!!!!!!

  • I think this freaked me out the most because it was like the first time he showed emotion.

  • i like the way suda 51 makes these games look so FUCKED UP :D

  • Poor Garcian... I MEAN! Poor Emir...

  • Killer7 is a masterpiece.

  • You're giving it far less credit than it deserves. Best game of all time? For me, it will always be.

  • fuck wat an ending...

    in the name of harman...

  • @UltimateInfinty amn dude that was funny

  • this is one ending scene to a game that i was actually moved. crazy and sad at the same time. this game is truly insane to say the least

  • kill me because how goddamn confusing this game is!!

  • Such a strange and sad ending for one of the most unique games ever, along with eternal darkness.

Considering the wild tarantino-esque violence and cutting satire, the sombre mood of the last chapter really comes from the left field, building up to this...

But thta's what makes it so powerful

  • Right on. I don't think you can even really have true tragedy without comedy and madness -- Shakespeare understood this -- and Killer7 has both in spades.

  • i`m confused really confused

    in the name of harman

  • its emo

    xD

  • D:

A very sad but powerful ending.

    This game WILL be remembered.

    So will Con's reload :D

  • Holy crap, major spoilers, Garcian didn't transform, all the other assassins were just figments of his imagination.

  • Nope, the killer7 were very much real.

How else could Dan Smith open the retina scan to face Curtis Blackburn?

How else could Jean DePaul recognise MASK de Smith as a lucha libre wrestler?

  • They saw Garcian as a specific person.

  • One may argue that, but there's one problem: Why did Garcian and Harman collect the bodies? We know that they definetly collected Dan (it's inferred by Travis), so was there any point to it?

That's what I love about killer7. No answer is definite. All we can do is argue about them on the Internet.

    :P

  • That was when Garcian was Emir. Emir killed the old Killer 7 because Young Harman recruited them to fight God Harman. Garcian was made by Kung and Young Harman was made by Harman. It was probably in the past.

The ironic thing is, Young Harman works for Kung and Garcian works for Harman.

  • its called proproganda, you know how the news makes us believe that "war is on our side" or poloticians say "everythings all right!"' and we believe it? its kinda like that, the TV in harmans room is like saying, okay, your Dan, but in reality, your still Garcian, everyone was convinced of the K7 being 7 different people. but really, every was fooled into thinking that they were.

Also, if you recall, in ulmeyda's mission, the first native said: "we dont get too many black folk around here" hm?

  • I kinda disagree because if Emir coudnt manifest those personas into the real world then Curtis Blackburn would have noticed that he was fighting Emir not Dan Smith. Also, the eye retinal scanner woudnt work on Emir.

  • again, proproganda, things that make us believe something thats either not there or not true, look at the Handsome men, they were clearly not real. they were imagined by treavor and Love, who even admitted to creating Prop. yet the news said that they killed the democratic campainger for president.

as for the retinal scanner. garcian is Emir, so because Garcian opens it, means Emir opened it, they are the same person as you most likely know.

  • Well what I understood was that the thing with the handsome men and the Love girl was an online game and I can support it by various reasons. 1, they fought in a deserted Times Square, the second thing is that we can see at the end of the chapter that Kun Lan is holding a game controller., probably being the mind behind Love, only using her as an avatar. Nowadays, its very easy to pretend being a girl on the internet. Also at the end of the fight we can see online game, credits and "Game End"

  • I agree that this is a terrific ending; I'm STILL trying to work out all the details of the entire game.

But I noticed one detail that suggests that Emir/Garcian was not always around and that Harman would sometimes come out: Harman's sniper is missing.

Every weapon belonging to each member of the Killer7 is in Emir/Garcian's case...except Harman's sniper rifle.

Since Kun Lan caught a sniper bullet, this suggests that it wasn't Emir who pulled the trigger.

  • Harman and Emir are two different personas. They are not related at all. Remember Old Harman Smith was the one that gave Emir his powers.

  • Ow, my face.

  • Comment removed

  • Very smart words,mate.

  • killer 7 hotel deaths

  • ow my face LOL

  • Does his briefcase symbolise that Garcian is the Killer 7?

That the assassin skills of the other 6 are his and they don't exist. As he's the best assassin there is and outwitted the other 6 at their own game in the hotel level.

  • i think so :/ it was kind of sad... its still one of the brightest games on ps2 in my memory, loved it :)

  • Sort of. See, Harman has the ability to basically take on the ability of somebody at will; presumably whoever he has killed. Garcian is his primary "personality". Garcian Smith is Emir Parkreiner. The other 6 did exist as humans at one time, but Emir killed them in the hotel massacre. They then became personalities of Harman, and thus Garcian.

I dunno. The story is really deep and open. It's tough to call.

  • The confrontation between Curtis and Dan contradicts this theory.

I like the political side of the story more, propoganda and conspiracy.

  • Didn't Curtis give a line to Dan: "You don't want to die again, do you?" or something of that sort?

  • Curtis killed Dan. That we know is certain. My guess is that Harman came along and gave him another chance at life. Then, Dan was killed AGAIN by Emir Parkreiner at the Union Hotel.

So he's on his third life, and that was taken by a Pure Smile.

  • I'm assuming his first death was by Emir, then by Curtis, then by Pure Smile.

They need to give him a fourth life in a Killer 7 sequel or something. >_>

  • That wouldn't make sense. Curtis killed Dan first, and Travis does say that Harman recovered the body, only to die AGAIN by Emir's hands. Then Pure Smile.

  • Ah, K...

  • THIS is how it all goes !

Dan was killed by curtis during a mission.......harman revived him once, then he got killed by Garcian and that was it !!! didnt you understand the ending there all garcian..... there not all individual people, GARCIAN is the killer7 !!!!!

  • As said, there are many possible conclusions.

  • My concept- Dan was killed by curtis, then revived by harman. Then Garcian killed him ( as parkreiner), and took his weapons.

Once upon a time they were all individuals, but now they are just figments of Emir's mind (manipulated by harman and kun lan)

  • I don't think they were figments of his imagination or real people. emir killed them all, and whenever he needed their powers, he would use his power to make the illusion that he was them. how else do you explain that all the cutscenes where he doesn't need to be someone, he is always garcian smith.

  • Unfortunately.I don't think there will be a Killer 7 sequel...

It was a VERY unique game.

  • Plus, SUDA51's busy with No More Heroes.

The closest thing we'll get to killer7 should be the Handsome Men as a bonus boss in Desperate Struggle.

  • Oh yeah...That would be awesome.

  • they are also porting "the silver case" and "flower, sun and rain" to the DS. should be interesting.

  • I heard of Flower, Sun and Rain being ported, but not The Silver Case.

  • type "the silver case" into wikipedia and check the bottom of the first paragraph, then look down towards the "versions and re-releases" section. it tells you all about it.

  • what?

  • Ok,i'm confused...

  • "Ow my face" hahaha nice. Also, great ending to the game, it leaves it so open ended to a point where many things could be considered right.

  • all i can say its that this was so sad :(

  • Thats not the ending! The ending is you chose to save the US or Japan and afterward you see Harman Smith and Kun Lan in china and they replay the scene they had at the ending of the first level.

  • Well, this is the Kill the Past ending, but you're right. The final segment focuses on the message the game is trying to make on a political level.

  • I think that I have to play the game again

  • i love this ending...i love the soundtrack....favorite song on the soundtrack.

  • I agree. It just has that ambient atmosphere that sends chills down my spine. It's probably the most satisfying ending I've ever seen.

  • he goes crazy in the end and all of the 7 assains drive him into 2 gracis and he 4got shot harman who kills him bcoz he was goona crazy dis game is bloody hard i didd;t undersatnd it but it's fucking fun lol =p

  • no no no nO! dhey all die but dat guy was dat guy who was da assaim

  • no your just too retarded to follow it

  • Says the guy who can't spell "you're".

  • he just nailed you shaun

  • oh well its pretty funny

  • The high school is where emir went as a kid.His name was kamir he was trained to be an assasin and at the age 13 his mission was to kill the killer 7.After he did that he became Garcian.

In the cutscene garcian basically kills his innocence.

  • I'm thinking that Garcian doesn't use disguises, but he was a god-like person that killed the syndicate, and it left their imprint on his soul...or whatever.

  • The smiths were only compatable with his body. All the other people were imprints that wern't compatable.

  • Oh, you know that? I guess I missed some context clues...

  • So let me get something straight, Garcian is this Kamir guy right? And Kamir is an assasin who killed 6 people at that hotel for some reason. Then Karmir forgets(? this is the part I get confused) and becomes another person, who is Garcian. This newly born Garcian subconciously has split personalities, and are the people Karmir killed, before he became garcian. And to have those split personalities he had to have those guns which were in the suitcases.

  • Emir not Kamir. he also killed Harman (but not at the hotel) This game was all an invention of his mind because the trauma of having kill all Smith personal

  • cool 1 favorited^^

  • you guys, the whole "the other personalities were figments of Garcian's mind, and he never actually morphed" theory can be debunked simply by looking at Johnny Gagnon. He was an outside source, another ACTUAL person who physical SAW each of the different personalities as DIFFERENT PEOPLE and witnesses each's unique powers. So I think we can lay that inaccurate interpretation to rest.

  • Actually, Garcian had disguises in his case too, including a wig and fake breasts to use when he had to look like Kaede.

Seriously now, the letters were obviously addressed to Emir before he killed the Smith Syndicate. However, you can still question the figment theory by saying that Curtis recognized Dan, and the chef/spy recognized Mask.

  • How do you know there were diguises in his case too? I only saw guns.

  • I made that part up, hence the "seriously now" and the mention of Garcian wearing fake breasts.

  • Oh, sorry.

  • "will someone please explain this thourougly please? "

All the "split personalities" were in his mind; they were just images of the people he killed during the hotel massacre. As the "cleaner" when he always went to revive them, he'd open his suitcase...and they never showed it. Now, they show it...there's nothing medical in there; only their guns. The split personalities did not really exist.

  • I've read all the interpretations of the story, but I prefer the one I made up myself. I feel that Harman controlled Garcian, and Garcian was the killer7. It makes sense. Garcian is the only one who can revive the other members because HE IS the other members. I believe garcian is the one with the 6 other personalities. He never morphed into the other ones, he was the other ones. Harman just watched over him and changed the channel when the other personalities were needed.

  • Since Garcian didn't know he was the other personalities, he couldn't change into them willingly, until the final battle where all of the other 6 died, and he came out as the 7th. Garcian was the 7th member of the killer7, and the leader of them all. Harman was just his mentor.

    But thats just me.

  • Finally, I believe the apartment was Old Harman's Mind. You can hear Young Harman screaming cause he is trapped there by the Diety Harman, and the Diety rests in the locked up room with Kun Lan. At the end, I inferred that Young Harman enters the room and blasts Diety Harman and Kun Lan with his machine gun.

  • @cptspoofy , AHHHHH. Now that explain's garcian's apartment and those funny sounds. Thanks.

  • will someone please explain this thourougly please?

  • I think it's one of those games you gotta interpert yourself aka it's fucked up

  • Garcian was really Emir Parkreiner and killed Harman, Dan, Kaede, Kevin, Coyote, Con, Mask and Kun Lan and at this moment he just klled himself(the dude in the red shirt)

  • What name is the song on the soundtrack that plays during this scene?

  • There is another level after this, You play as Garcian and u decide if Japans guy rules or America carry on their lies, Kun lan is Iwazaru and 300 years later Harman fights Kun lan again

  • You know, it's really odd, when he had the personalities, Mills, and the others, he seemed so calm, cool, and collected, but at the very end, you can't help but feel bad for him. It really is powerful.

  • I love the ending of Killer 7. It's one of the most powerful endings in the gaming world. It's kinda sad how in the end, Garcian is all alone, he's lost his master, he's lost his closest thing to a friend, he's lost all of his personalities, he's lost the creepy maid, he's even lost his enemies. He really has no where else to go in life.

  • If you actually had more insight into the game, you'd realize that almost all of the dialogue is coded in being metaphorical. The game revolves around political conspiracy, so it would only make sense why the characters talk the way they do. It's like an "X files trust no one" type of situation.

  • I see where you're coming from. Killer 7 is all post modern thus abstract presentation which comes at you in snippets and in a shadowy manner. Things are only alluded to and nothing is outright stated. Which is good and bad. Because everyone can throw in tons of theories and be right. Also it's annoying to work in a world where rules are not set. So many variables such as gods and demons and superhumans and resurrection and powers and experiments all topped off with psychotic people.

  • The ending of this game is one of the best ever. It was just so powerful.

  • And suddenly he's totally alone.

  • Noo! It wasn't mee.. ugh.. Its all a misunderstanding!

hehe.. omg coolest abrubt ending ever!

  • It's a good story... don't you?

  • Man...I need to play through this again...this week

  • I loved how you could just play through the "ending" to discover what happened at the hotel.

  • My god the Lion endings are so good.

Even the very last ending is incredible.

  • I love this scene. So... sad. So dramatic. Poor Emir, and poor Garcian, especially.

I still can't find the real ending on YouTube, though. The Lion endings.

  • This was one of my favorite Chapters. I wish they'd make a prequel/sequel for Killer7(although its probably unnessecary because of the opend-ended ending). They could use the story from the "Hand in Killer7" book.

  • I just sucked when everyone died! but the ending was good!

  • Don't understand ending.

    PLZ x-plain.

  • Well, from what i understand is that when he shot "himself" in the 3rd eye, he remembered his past life as Eric(that guy you research in the school chapter),that means that he was the one that killed the original Killer 7 assasins(dont remember exactly why he did it. And also, Kun Lan was Eric's father, so if you remember the last chess game between Kun Lan and Harman, you'll see that the kid he was talking about was Eric and how is it that he awoke.

  • His name wasn't Eric, it was Emir Parkreiner. But other than that everythihng was right. :)
