that whole protest was a joke. a small amount of land with so called "sacred" properties is made into a much more useful roadwork for the citizens of the city, and it is suck a huge deal. if you tree huggers want to do anything useful to save the environment, go to the interior of BC, try to stop the MILLIONS of hectars being torn down.

I have been following this situation for quite some time and I just want to know why the Tribeal Cheif is just now comming down to the site of the cave and falling of the trees as it is happening to see for himself what is occuring at this time, and why weren't more local peole sitting in the trees? When the land was sold wasn't it made clear what the land would be used for? Were you being hoodwinked?
