There is no wow factor because the entire dance was UP. There were maybe 3 formations where there were some level changes, but the focus remains on ladies standing tall. Even though the formations were good, there was no variation, and the arms became distracting. The only reason the ending was "wow" is because you all went down at the same time - it was something different to see.

I agree with no wow factor. Although the arms were strong, there was too much going on with them. It was really distracting, I couldn't really get into the dance.

The dynasty champions are the undefeated Memphis State University Danceteams throughout the 1980s.

This was a good routine. Two things I noticed that separate this team from the dynasty champions of the 80s is they wear really dark uniforms and its hard to see the body lines which create an amazing visual. Perhaps if there wrists were wrapped in white tape and there shoes then the routine appear more precise almost like dancing under a black light.

They went undefeated in the 80s under the title Memphis State University Danceteam. Google Memphis State 1988 and the Youtube video will come up from one of their championshi routines. They were feared and hated in the 80s, NO ONE COULD BEAT THEM!!!

No illegal to wear in the competition now. Police cant arrest them or anything... not that type of illegal. The shirt that they wore shows the stomach and goes down low. So now apparently the competition doesnt want any costume that shows anything.

Big deal.. I was a 7 time national champ but that's not the point of critiquing on these pages!... yes it's good to know that you know what you are talking about but braggin becomes boring. Overall great dancers, 8/10 on choreography- overall great moves but there's a lot I would change too, but that's my opinion and everyone has their own style- no one's the same!... so overall,my scores: 9/10 on the dancing,..8/10 on choreography,... good job ladies!

im from cincinnati and have always supported them but there is no denying it. you ladies should have one. this is hiphop and cincinnatis was not. UDA judges are all about tight clean movements not about real hiphop and the amount of energy and flow thats supposed to go into it. i have been robbed before and it sucks and you were without a doubt robbed

YEAH, U are right about that, but the costume was appropriate for hip hop. They dressed the part and looked the part. Cin. didn't even look the part! It was cute what they did but it didn't flow at all. Judges who determine a win should have some type of history with hip hop dance

I would put money on the fact that Cincinatti won because of costume. U of M had MUCH better foot work/flow BUT a lot was lost because the color of the pants all blended together and you could not see their legs at times whhich made Cincinatti look cleaner.

cincinatti looked so robotic. They placed everything and hip hop is suppose to flow, U of M actually looked as though they were not doing a routine, it look natural, I dont see how they got 2nd but I guess. Cincinatti was to technical for hip hop
