  • what song at 5:45

  • I miss the old wagons. Today it's all about SUV, MPV and such :(

  • My neighbor has two of these things. lol

  • I don't know about this car in particular some of these used a Corvette engine.

  • @MDMCIII Yeah the LT1 5.7 V8. That was made available for the B body wagons and sedans in 94. This car has the L05 5.7 V8 which was an optional upgrade from the standard L03 5.0 V8. This engine puts out 180 hp and 300 ft-lbs of torque while the Corvette LT1 put out 260 hp and 335 ft lbs of torque. The standard 5.0 was rated at 170 hp and 255 ft-lbs of torque so this engine is even quite a bit better than that one. LT1 is a better engine out of the 3 combined with better trans & looks different.

  • @MDMCIII Yep! The good ole LT1, they used it in 1994-1996 models, I have it in my 95 limited sedan

  • Good memories when my grandma had this. I loved the back when I was little.

  • there is a red one of these an hr away from here 48,000 miles and they are asking 9,000 for it

  • Kyle I sent this video to my uncle towards the end of his life. He was batteling pancreatic cancer and he loved Buick Roadmasters. I think he owned like 2 in his lifetime. He passed it down to his step-son, who still drives it. Watching a video of a Roadmaster makes me think of my uncle and bring a tear to my eye. He will always be missed. Thanks for making this video and for helping lift his spirits, when I shared this with him :)

  • @zpehta Your uncle had great taste in cars, I can tell you that.

  • @canibusnj Thank you! He was a great uncle, Always helped others. Like giving his step-son his Buick Roadmaster, so he could get to and from his job.

  • I was wondering if the third seat held three or just had room for two? If it has seats three, I am going to tell my mother to trade our 2011 Chevrolet Suburban for one of these. They will get better MPGs for sure!

  • We need more lemon pledge.

  • when u said a magnificent car u mean these wagons .. i love and respect

these Iron cars .. all respect for those who care about their old awesome

    cars..

see the power see the capacity see the comfort see the quality .. i really

miss to these cars , and i will say Japanese brand go to hell with your

    toys ..

    ..

    keep going my friend

  • first time? wow...in my area, they're everywhere...the owners must know what a treasure they got!

  • i want 1

  • It's in very good condition I must say, the only thing I did notice is a fair bit of valvetrain noise, but that may just be how it sounds on the vid.

  • @IanTC12 those old Chevrolet 350's all tend to have that "rattle" sound to them.... My '93 Roadmaster has that same sound... I had a '91 Caprice with the 305 and another Roadmaster with the 350 (both had that same sound)... Even lower mileage ones tend to do that when the engine is cold... That engine (along with the sister 305) dates back to 1968 - very old school...

  • Haha... Top Gear episode Beater Boot Camp. Every time I see this car, it makes me laugh. And think... "Mom's here!" LOL

    BTW nothing against the car.

  • Good review but you missed a few features. You didn't show how both back seats lie completely down to be used for hauling. That's a great feature, and you missed it! I have this car and it comes in handy!

  • the 1991-1996 Buick Roadmaster was assembled in

    Arlington, Texas, USA

  • 5 people don't know a good car when they see one. i'm almost 18 and i would love to have one of these, estate wagon or sedan.

  • Hey Kyle, Just a tip i was wondering when cars have power seats if you could demonstrate them?, Thanks ,AALEVK

  • Michael Jackson in a Buick?

  • my grandparents had a 94 i like it . i also like there 87 suburban and maybe 83 cadillac seville. man they had big cars. the car they had was equiped with red velvet interior. has a bose sound system

  • I had a '92 Roadmaster Estate Wagon with the TBI 350. It was dark blue and I loved it. About two years ago four trees fell on it and and a '92 Grand Prix I had. Mother Nature didn't like my car as much as I did apparently.

  • @toyota4life94 I wasn't to crazy about the new styling either, it was too compact, a true wagon is full size luxury haha, and I think Buick accomplished that well.

  • You know if that wagon was made today, those front seats would have TVs on the back.

  • @toyota4life94 I did watch that, and it was great to see how well it held up through all the tests( though they pretty well beat the car up.) Maybe, just maybe, wagons will make a come back!

  • People make fun of these wagons, but now there becoming something that the American automakers don't make anymore which makes them classic.

This one would look pretty slick if it was lowered and had some hard 5 spoke chrome rims.

  • the FLEX is the updated version of this

  • i would kill to have one of these with the brown interior :p

  • This is a great car. If they came back it would save GM

  • It's Technically a La-Z-y Boy with a steering wheel in front of it lol, Thumb up if you agree!

  • just saw this on top gear USA, amazing...

vette engine, good acceleration, vista sunroof, rear wheel drive, comfortable ride, plush seats, 8 seater.... they dont make cars like they used to.....

  • Ultimate luxuruy wagon, awesome...still should be making these, with wood paneling too!

  • you seem to mess around with the radios more in your older videos, we cant hear the same quality of sound over computer speakers what you're hearing inside the car

  • i love this car, but theyre very rare now a days, people like this new plastic stuff they come out with, which is ok too, but this is true american muscle.

  • Put on some Torque Thrust rims and a manual tranny. You'll have yourself a superwagon.

  • Beautiful car! :)

  • BRING IT BACK! what happened to the true wagons?

  • Something that's not apparent in the video is how absurdly wide these cars are in person. It's the perfect long-haul cruiser, big enough to ride nice, new enough to be reliable and have a good availability of parts on the road.

  • And a 5.7 liter v8, you want something more? I dont thik so

  • @2800v6rochester I'd want a '94 with the LT-1. That's what I'd want.

    And a manual transmission.

  • A realy big bad boy, this cars, are so bign and in my opinion, i had a Cutlass, and, all this kind of GM cars, are very good

  • Saabkyle bro, I really really love your videos!! I haven't seen vids like these anywhere else!! I've always been curious about all sorts of different vehicles made in all sorts of different countries, how they sound, how they look like even, maybe I've seen an imported vehicle that's rare here and I wonder how the interior looks or what engine it's got, and here's a database of maybe all the vehicles in the world! I don't have to look any further, if I want to know about a certain vehicle...

  • ... all I have to do is look at your vids! Thanks a million bro!! :)

  • 94 is the way togo

  • US cars are awsome but it´s difficult to own one here in germany, they are much more expensive than in the states, the car taxes for big engines are high, and the fuel is expensive:(

  • Nice bit of MJ there lol :D

  • Go to ronsvideokeepers, check out the big 92 Olds wagon

  • whats wrong with it's stereo it sounds terrible lol

  • dont see too many of these, the older cars are more reliable, due to the fact they dont have as many sensors, and electrical parts that fail like the new ones, although i love some of the new cars!

  • love this car if only it got more than almost 20 mpg....

  • Awsome car, at 5:01 that is Billie Jean right? The middle school 8th grade band is playing that in a concert on the 25th, But I love those roadmasters. I want to get one, make it a street legal drag car, and call it the Stealth Buick!

  • Man I miss my Roadmaster. It was one of the smoothest cars i've ever driven.

  • Such a awesome Car! Love the Roadmaster Estate Wagons. I'm gade you came across one so you can video It Kyle.

  • kyle i gotta say i am impressed with your videos lately i always wanted to see older cars not new cars or lambos etc so you have impressed me with your channel keep up the good work and awesome roadmaster too!!!

  • Man I love this car! glad you found one!

  • You should have bought this instead of the Genesis coupe :P

  • @ultrami77 that's funny because he is replacing his Genesis with a Roadmaster

  • Great video as always! Love those old big Buicks!

  • we had something similar years back, bought it from a friend, it was a theft recovery.

  • good ol' 350 V8, great engines, run forever

  • good ole LT1

  • @naterade21 that isn't an LT1, it's an L05 TBI. The LT1 didn't appear until 1994

  • @barnie7219 oh ok

  • sorry but only americans can make crap like this :D

  • frankly, the Sedan's horn sounded a LOT nicer than the wagon's.

  • hahahah 8:05

someones screaming "bad ass muda fuker!"

hope they werent tlaking to you kyle :p

  • whats up with the sandals....is it that hot in North Carolina already?

  • All I have to say about that car is DAYYYUMN! That car is so wide, the Ford GT's stance looks like a Mini!!

  • My Grandpa had a car exactly like this. It was a miracle that he got the huge car into his narrow garage.

  • looks like a caprice

  • Those are beautiful cars! Thanks for the tour! =)

  • i always call these trims lumber jack wagons! lol

  • That's actually called a vista roof...

  • Good looking estate wagon. Thats a pretty loud engine though. They should bring this type of car back to life, you never seem to see wagons anymore.

  • i wish they still made full sized RWD wagons too. there is nothing more American than a big old station wagon. I like them more than suvs and a hell of a lot more than minivans. Ford still makes the crown vic and the grand marquis on the panther platform used since 1979. They could still make wagons off of them if they wanted to.

  • love that vista roof!

  • nice looking wagon... I always thought it would feel wierd to ride "backward" for a very long distance in a station wagon.... ford had seats that faced each other which (to me) would seem to be a better deal for riding very far...

  • there is a house down the street from me that has three of these in their driveway; one is a oldsmobile, one is a buick, and the other is a chevrolet. Two of them are in pretty rusty shape, but the other one looks pretty good.... there is always oil dripping down the driveway though haha.

  • *like

  • nice wagon! :)

I'm sure that redneckratrodPat would likes this!

  • i really like the interior!

  • Sweet! thumbs up! :) i wish that they would bring back the wagon too.

  • Thats one ugly thing loo

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Pretty badass car, a car from an extinct car era. You never seem to see any wagons nowadays. Think about the fate that the wagon offered by GM nowadays is the Cadillac CTS Sportswagon.

  • Comment removed

  • redneckratrodPat have an 91 of these

  • @claesnielsen Yep!

  • Holy sh*t, thats one loud engine, and not in a good way

  • I've only seen these in movies! :D

  • Many of these were crushed in Cash for Clunkers.

  • hehe wow, i saw one of these yesterday on a streetrace, black with the '' wood '' on the side, hoosier drag tires in the back and had like 700hp :D

  • @Projective Hahaha woah baby!!

  • i wonder where they got the idea to put timber style on the outside

  • @yanni6556 pretty sure it dated to the 50s

  • @saabkyle04 yeah, it was from the original roadmaster

  • @saabkyle04 Car Manufacturers have been putting wood on the side since the humble days of the Model T!

  • @yanni6556 it was always available as an option or standard on US station wagons with the exception of the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable, til wagons were phased out with GM's B-bodies in 1996 (Caprice/Roadmaster/Custom Cruiser)

  • I'm not much on wagons but this and its Oldsmobile cousin are pretty nice.

I like Buick, they've made some great cars through the years and are introducing some great new ones as well in recent years.

  • hey kyle i was wondering could u do one on a 200-2003 nissan maxima and a 1998-2001 nissan altima thanks
