OFP-> Arma conversion is theoretically easy. you just need to write model.cfg with ofp selections + make some new anims that fit for old proxies and after this you can practically convert bunch of planes at once with very little config work ;) though a lot more time is needed to get the model up to arma standarts...
Maybe use the Camel prop anims? I think that should work, not that i could make it, cause i don't know a shit about animations. Hell i can't even use scripts and triggers in the editor :P

The textures on those WWII addons are nothing short of amazing, we use these for WWII dogfights on the internode server, I ported about 30 aircraft over from Flashpoint since april, but none of them bar the Su25 would be ready for release as an addon, these are intended for personal use until an addon maker - does a full conversion over or creates a new one. Check out the video response above it has the Migs/Su family in it thats real reason I started the process in the first place.

The WWII planes need new prop animations, there still using the flashpoint ones that don't work so well in arma.

These are all Operation Flashpoint addons that I have converted over to Arma. you should watch the whole video mate it's worth it

Getting the permission from the original addonmakers would be nice for releasing them in ArmA. Especially for the ww2 planes.
