Its interesting to see Paranormal Activity being such a low budget movie doing so well and the marketing campaign being so cautious as well - using mostly internet viral advertising a relatively cheap advertising campaign. This remarks on how that end of movie making has had a budget cut back as well.

I saw Zombieland on Sunday - it was awesome! Definitely one I'll remember for some time, maybe even buy the DVD. Woody Harellson was fantastic and so was everyone else TBH.

PA Review:

I liked Paranormal Activity a lot, it was nice to see a horror movie that didn't need gore or sex but the boyfriend WAS trying to ask for a little naughty dance but just not hard enough. I would also have liked to see more of the demon, even though we never actually did see him throughout the film; because he eventually did evolve into a character in the movie with his relationship with the other two characters. But it was great as is!

Cant wait for The Stepfather but it would have been more controversial keeping the daughter as the protagonist with all the anti-violence protests against women which they didnt have much back when the original was made. I think that is what made the original step father a character people love to hate.

Okay, I just got back from Paranormal Activity. I thought it was . . .

REALLY GOOD! A lot of new scares that I haven't seen in movies before and proved that scary movies don't need tons of blood, sex, and drugs.
