Bloodbath created these 3 songs just to test the new Swano`s equipment, and even they wanted to make a tribute to the swedish bands of the late 80s and early 90s, no doubt they only had in mind one of their favorites bands when they created this song Morbid Angel, specifically the song Immortal rites, go and check the demo version of this song "Breeding Death" and then go and listen to immortal rites by Morbid, both of them are the same in the main riff,

@TherionTF2 I think people like this because it's a good outlet for anger and it's a nice contrast from all the happy go lucky music we are fed from the media. I, personally, like it because of the feeling it gives me. It's not a happy feeling and it's hard to describe, but I enjoy it. When it comes to the lyrics, they're just morbid humor :) If you want to hear extreme metal (or "random noise") with meaningful lyrics, I recommend bands like Watain.

Bloodbath is another example on that the best metal comes from scandinavia. Another death metal band i like from scandinavia could be Kalmah from Finland, though they're a lot softer.
