Ok, I don't really watch or know anything about this incarnation, so did they start with 3 and then add 2 more rangers? Just curious because the first couple morphing sequences i saw only had the cell phone morphing guys

Why does the engine cell morph chip that Flynn (blue) pulls out has the flashing red light while the other two (red and yellow) engine cell morph chips don't have it? Hmm...

Possibly because the suit has a few bugs in it, and since the Engine Cell is kind off connected to the suit, the red light right might mean something is still wrong, which they show in "Ranger Blue."

Yeah, but the thing is, they used the same "pull the engine cell morph chip out" scene in the first episode with the very first morph, so that means something was wrong with Blue in the first place? That doesn't seem right.

Oh well, we'll probably never know.

Since Power Rangers uses the Sentai toys on the show, the Japanese version of the Cell Shift morpher, the electronics were all in the Engine Cell/Engine Soul and would activate once you put it in. I guess the production crew forgot to take the electronics out.
