The air craft sticking is a majour pain but you move, move move...
I set my sight on 500m and leave it there. after a short while you know the range. quicker and safer. Use dead tanks as cover too. My game seems slower on the controls than yours. I did not like the Ausf B one as it was too busy and limited missions. They could have re-done the first and I would have been happy
Hey.. a question, I'm playing a rom of this game but how do I deal that tanks that can see me from far, but I can't see them when zooming in with the gun to aim? At outer view I can see the tanks but in aim mode they disappear!!
@Nerfball6 You can get the Sega Dreamcast version, it has better graphics. It was only released in Japan, but Us consoles can play it, and many jap games use lots of English text in the menus, so its possible to understand it.
A) the best tank only in terms of kills per losses was the german Tiger II "King Tiger". Lesser than 300 King Tigers have been used by 8 Heavy tank battalions which destroyed more than 5,600 soviet tanks only on the eastern front.
B) the best OVERALL tank in combination of all terms was the Panther G with good mobility, VERY good fire power and armor protection!
C) the best tank was probably the T34 due to high production rate + it changed the outcome of WW2!

b) the best overall tank that combined good speed, mobility, fire power, armor protection etc.
c) the best all around tank with the highest production rate of the war (most produced pieces) and the most notable effect in the war (for example, if it changed the outcome of the war).

On paper the Leopard is as good a tank as the Abraqms but the thing is the Leopard has never really been combat tested so you could'nt say it's better than Abrams. Challenger 2 though is the better tank in my opinion.

i think you're just better off checking out a review. without a doubt the best WW2 strategy game. it's not arcade at all. however it's made by a couple of russian company's so the marketing in the west has been close to none existant.
@CoolDog202 Darkest Hours is 10 times more realistic. RO has muuuch overdone effects of angling of armor, so it often turns into tank ping pong with angled t34s deflecting 88 shells from 400-500m, with unangled turret front deflecting them too just fine.
In DH armor penetration values are realistic, and after update this game is gonna be even more realistic and historically accurate. Try it.

My weapon of choice was the Panther, I would steer my youngest who would have been 4 would fire, with his eye, fighter bombers a side the war in the East would have only needed 12 Panthers. no, i do not have ausf.b. all i have heard is not so good. horrible framerate and so on. the entire feeling is not like in pf and bis. but physic engine is way better and a few other things. reloadsection especially. look at the vid of englishacct to see this.

100% agree with you. but in one point i am sceptical. you can see the options and he has 'semiautomatic' transmission. so, if he does not change the gear, the cpu does. because of this i do not think he is every time in the first gear. you see.
but maybe the tv or the ps3 is the reason for that framerate. i do not know.

i finished all mision in ace mode.
the german misions were very easy the usa misions were very very hard but not impossible. to me the best tank combat simulator.......

If you look closely at his screen, you'll see that the gears are always in '1' and never change.
