  • I love this poem ...

  • amazing; enough said...!

  • Wow

  • 16 people are shit

  • This actually made me tear up a little bit :/. She is a good poet and it's one of the best poems I have ever herd :)

  • This is the best poem i've ever heard..

  • im white im not racist but i don,t like my colour now im sorry but why am i sorry i didnt do anything my best friend is muslim im tired

  • @Fozzeeeh Bro dont say stuff like that ..... be happy with the colour you are .... all you can do is spread love to people .....theres good and bad in all people all we can do is spread love because we are all brothers in humanity

  • My mind is blown right now!!! She got mad skill

  • She is special, i'm sitting in my room in London just clapping

  • Like, real stuff

  • OMG! She is on point.

  • this was like one of the best poems on Def Poetry

  • It is complicated and she obviously has no idea of the true nature of Geo-Politics. People can only make the deals to buy the souls of a country when the nations leaders put out their hand. But, that would mean having to look at the role her own people played in their own damaged world. Palestine is in Syria, it never was in Israel. The Palestinians were relocated by the Romans. They fight the Jews because they are an easier enemy than the Syrians.

  • im not anywhere near arab and this shit speaks to me SOOOO much. what a strong woman. goddamn

  • You are either with life or against it. Afirm Life<wow bout to get that shit Tatted

  • who can translate this texte in french please? thank you so mush...

  • the sad thing is that it wasn't even "terrorists" that are really responsible for 9/11.

  • @mellowkat01 Take your misguided, intellectually challenged, conspiracy theory having behind somewhere and tell that stupid B.S. to your Mama.

  • the sad thing is that it wasn't even "terrorists" that are really responsible for 9/11.

  • @mellowkat01 true dhat.

  • @mellowkat01 How so?

  • يسلم تمّك يا ملاك

  • Love it so much

  • get it girl! where is she i want her to be my friend

  • love and respect ,,,

    dubai ....

  • So Powerful...

  • Powerful words. A great poem doesn't have to rhyme either. Not all poems do. Her choice of words were perfect. To the point and def gets the message across.

  • I got chills..

  • Very nice poem, but I really wish she would've put the time to memorize it. Reading from a sheet really weakens the power and delivery effect of a good poem. Also, making it rhyme wouldn't hurt either.

    Not hatin, just statin.

  • @waynakhabibi i feel you

  • I cried...

  • I cleared tears from my face.

  • There are very few poets who have made me cry. This wonderful poet did. Thank you for up-loading this video.

  • Beautiful

  • Shit i'm speechless man.

  • youtube has been lowering this videos views !!!!

  • @hoyaddawas Your so right!

Last time i checked it was about 500,000 views

  • Strong beautiful words.

Its time we stop judging nations and cultures based on extremist actions.

  • maaaaan this woman touched me dearly....

  • she made me cry ... powerful words .

  • Justice has been served

  • when we gonna do somthing

  • She just brought tears to my eyes. I wish all Americans were so enlightened.

  • @sloopedc me too

  • she got so ghetto in the middle haha

  • TRUTH

  • @B1GJ1M80 fuck your self, and accept pathetic stupidity that is your vision. I would feel sorry for you but instead i hope for your scream swallowed up by others in hell. If it is all Anti American To You And Simply Pro Meadle East then i hope for your scream in hell, and we the innocent shall never have to bear hear you denial and Fabricated Patriotism. And If your not American then still same goes for you. This is Anti Murder and Nazi style of killing(kill all arabs) and Pro Living andBreathin

  • @starpulse21 please dont counterargument yourself. "Screamin in hell" isn't exactly "Pro living"

  • @B1GJ1M80 Did you not actually listen to her words? She is American, and she supports America. She made that perfectly clear. Here, go to 1:38 listen again

  • She is a smart woman

  • @kyraharris1 She is smart... but, not as smart as she believes.

  • man that was powerful i really felt that one

  • Possibly the best poem I have ever heard.

  • Awesome!

  • I cried. Truly beautiful <3

  • wtf the lyrics suck dick

  • masha allah, i just want peace and love

  • long live palestine?? pfff get the fuck out of here... obviously its shocking the way innocent palestinians are being killed... but long live?? bun that... palastine as a muvafucking state were supporting saddam when he was gassing up kurds.... you only talk about palastine or iraq because its purposley put on the news and everywhere around us... they all semites.. the beef with arabs and jews is a tribal war going on for centuries.. they are of the same race... let them find their own peace

  • @KiLLaHKurD dont fight fire with fire... the officials and the government might have but they do not reflect the people. and you as a kurd should understand that the voice of the government doesnt mean the voice of the people.

  • @NinaBella93 i agree with what you’re saying but im finding trouble in understanding what your exactly criticising in my comment?

  • @KiLLaHKurD you basically dnt think palestinians deserve sympathy cos of what happened to kurds? i doubt palestinians as a people supported saddams treatment of kurds... whats going on palestine is worse than what happened with the kurds.

  • @NinaBella93 i dont actually know where to start with this... ok, i didnt say they dont deserve sympathy what happened or happening to kurds. i simply asked why long live palastine??? alot of people or groups or races are suffering out there but because they are not visible to the eye people see palastinians as the most suffering. take your comment for example, "palestine is worse than what happened with the kurds". and what do u know whats happened with the kurds? or are you just ignorant

  • @NinaBella93 and palestinians might of been suffering but they are not clueless on the world. they suffer and support another killer. what does this tell you?? everyone cares about themselves, and thats exactly what i said in my first comment.

  • The 12 people that disliked this video are all white and got offended.

  • I remember this one too!!! GOD I miss DPJ!!!!

  • It wasn't only Arab-Americans that were prosecuted. Muslims of every race were also. I don't like her. She lowered herself to get her point across which was unnecessary. Cursing is not needed to get your point across.

  • @maqsoodah Instead of backbiting our dear sister, we should make du'a (supplication ) for her. We are all sinners. What about all of the sins that we dont expose? ALLAH is Al-Ghafoor(The all-Forgiving).

  • @maqsoodah She did it because that's how she feels, sweetheart. Life (and poetry) is not always about saying something for the sole purpose of making sure everyone gets your point; if that's the only way she feels she can express her anger / hurt etc. that's how she will (and did) do it..

  • affirm life

  • I got shivers down my spine. Beautiful.

  • almost in tears.... :(

  • the most beautiful words ive heard in a very long time.......blessed. im tellin u, blessed

  • how beautiful this poem is her soul

  • Thank you to the beautiful poetess. Amen Sister...

  • fuck am in tears listenin to this.. Thats powerful... I feel her pain honestly...we need people like u sister.. Keep speaking loud for ur brothers (May God have mercy on their souls) and the innocent paletinians, iraqis and all muslims n others who r in pain today... Amazing..

  • the only poem that made me drop tears! this is so real!

  • Some of the AUDIENCE reacton , made me feel it even more than the poem . Because To see how certain people reacted , and FELT IT , made me appreciate it so much more... , I` m jus happy That some people GOT IT

  • amazing poem. Real powerful and true to every word.

  • wowww amazing!

  • She is the most amazing poet, ever.

  • This is the real shit here!!!!

  • this was beautiful.

  • never fail 2 be moved by this poem makes u think life isn't that bad

  • This is emotion expressed in words. Simply beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes.

  • Ahhh x] I'm loving her right now. Woot woot, sister knows how to say it.

  • The link in the video is a private video..! Can you please give me a public link..?? I want to see the video..! Thnx..!

  • @macforfun006 I WANT THAT LINK TOO ! BUT IM GUESSIN ITS JUST SOME LADY WHO WANTED TO BOOMB ARABS

  • @bobbydiggs187 wtf does that have to do with injustice being done? You should be worried about both. When they do this to any group it facilitates the injustice done to African-Americans here. Black on Black, White on White, White on Black, whatever; when injustice is done it just breeds more injustice no matter where it is done or who has perpetrated it.

  • @bobbydiggs187 never considered myself white.. i hope none have either

  • Nice

  • Woah. Lost for words.

  • wow...gorgeous.

  • Palestine, Gaza, West Bank, Rumallah

This Is For The Children Searchin For a Answer

Wish I Could Take Your Tear Away And Replace Em With Laughter

Long Live Palestine Long Live Gaza!

  • @FazRulezZ4ever Lowkey the king !!

  • @FazRulezZ4ever Lowkey! yesssss!!!!

  • Long Live Palestine Long Live Gaza.

  • you talked about the American injustice but you did not condem Binlan..did u speak of hitler and others alike.. did u speak of all the children and men that died FOR YOU a to have a right in a free country TO SPEAK..all the WHITE MEN AND BOYS..DID YOU SPEAK OF THE HELL IN ROME AND ALIKE. oNE DAY YOU AND ALL THE OTHER LEADERS ..RELGIOUS WILL STAND TOGETHER TO SPREAD CONFUSION

  • @youthfulheart The poem isn't about general injustice; it is about the demonization of an entire group of people for the actions of several. She is inquiring why it is justified to paint Arab-Americans as evil for 9/11, but not other people of other groups of Americans who have done heinous things. A side note: NOT just white men and women fought to make this country free; it was blacks and browns who truly tested the First Amendment and America's promise of "liberty and justice for all."

  • Too deep. Too beautiful. What a extraordinary poem. This poem is TATTED on my heart for the rest of my life.

  • real shit and she's a beautiful woman!!!.

  • wow. masterpiece.

  • This is is just word-by-word masterpiece.

I do find the loud applause very rude while she is in the middle of her performance.

She has to stop her flow etc. How about the old school snapping fingers as applause?

  • Golden Words

  • Im On REPLAY AGAIN! Too Good .. The truth .. :)

  • At First I Listen To It I Was Like What? But Then When I Listened To It Again It Makes Sense, This Shit Is REAL Deep

  • too deep, this is now my favorite piece.

  • Amazing.

  • Exactly...Keep speaking the truth!

  • Eye-openingly beautiful and true.

  • What I love about this poem is the use of

    "blanket attacks on the shivering".

So beautifully written, concise and incredibly descriptive!

  • I wonder if it will come a day that I can watch this and simply not cry, she speaks from her soul from the mouth of being a sister from the heart of an American women. Alot of pain in her words but she stands tall and straight

  • Beautiful.

  • Let U.S. LISTEN! Let U.S. LEARN! Let U.S. HEAL!

  • LOVE this

  • Affirm life

  • The first time I saw thius tears rolled down my face, all these years later my heart, my mind, my soul is still is so effected by her words. She speaks the truth and that fact alone hurts

  • just because people hav a voice, doesnt mean they can speak, this is the voice of muslim women, and it is beutiful, it is the truth about what is wrong, rather than the lies that the government weave to create order, i hope this woman has the strength to bring this message to others, and silence racism and slander of the people who are different and are hurting so much... may god/allah/buddha/ganesh or whoever ur god is, help u find the strength not to fight...

  • wow truth must be told
