  • Can you do a video how to paint faces using Andrea technique w/ camera angled as in this video.

  • @51164artman I'll try but it may be awhile. Michigan Toy Soldier Co has some vids of using them. Do a search of them and also the paints and you should find them. Thanks mate for watching!

  • Thats Not White Paint Its A Few Sperms Mashed UP!

  • @Xxhow2lovexX dude just give it up your not even funny

  • @Xxhow2lovexX Yeah...

  • Im sorry its Laurent Esposito mas. Typo.

  • Laurent Exposito mas uses nothing but the Andrea Flesh Set for his flesh colors. So that's an interesting fact. I'm not sure about the white set because sometimes you want to paint "clean" white instead of the brown "dirty" white. But it looks good.

I'll definitely look into the Flesh and Black set and maybe the White. Not really into the other colors though. But I haven't heard one thing bad about Andrea paint.

  • @Ydouneed2nomyname Sorry I missed this one! I have his video and that's where I first learned of them I think. I like their paints a lot. The white set can be left off. You can live without the flesh set but I don't recommend it. LOL The black set is an absolute must to get, period. Thanks buddy for watching!

  • I really like Andrea Flesh. I learned how to make a very convincing flesh using oil paint through an airbrush. The secret is the tiny amount of green in the mix. You can detect it in the Andrea Flesh shades. It really mimics the subsurface scattering of light on skin. Great review. Thanks!

  • @wncranger It is a wonderful set. Thanks, I didn't know that!

  • Looks very good... It will probably be easier for me to find the LifeColor flesh paints though, as mentioned by HamilkarBarkas.. :) Will go to town tomorrow and pop into Games Workshop as well, and see what they recommend.. sadly my friend and neighbour who run the local toy / model / hobby shop closed it a couple of months ago, due to lack of business, or I would have asked him to try and get me a set of this.. :) Good review.. now I'm off to watch your face paint video, while I'm at it.. :)

  • @BasicModelling I got mine off Ebay. BTW, the white set is good but you could do without it.

  • @Generalsplatton Ebay.. I'll have a look, if I can't find anything suitable in town.. :)

  • great review, i thought about getting the flesh tone set. i´m using lifecolor´s flesh paint set at the moment (which is fantastic in my opinion), but i will try andreas set aswell.

  • @888HamilkarBarkas888 It is a wonderful set! But my favorite is the black set. The white set you could do without, really.

  • awesome product review! subbed!

  • @highpriestrsw2 Thanks buddy, glad you found it helpful!

  • You know if I were painting in something that actually had alot of flesh in it I would definitely pick these paints up but not a big need for flesh in Battletech though I may pick up the black set you did a review on of course there is alot of white to paint (Comstar/WOB)

  • @wemic9 LOL I know what you mean. I have used it just a little myself to be honest but I will be using it more here shortly. It is a great joy to use though. Thanks for looking!

  • You know if I were painting in something tat actually had alot of flesh in it I would definitely pick these paints up but not a big need for flesh in Battletech though I may pick up the black set you did a review on

  • These are really cool! I still may just yet pick up a set just to give it a shot and see how I like them. I am not one that just gets set in my ways and won't try something else. LOL

  • @VividAdventures2010 Thanks, glad I gave you something to think about! They really are a nice set.

  • Nice review! Something to think about when I do humans:) I'm planing on painting more armies this year so thanks Bro:)!!!!!

  • @terrainaholic Thanks bud, hope it helps! Cool, what will you be painting? It would be great to see painting from you again. I miss that even if it is terrain!

  • I always like adding a purple wash to my face. People tend to stare but I dont mind. You were walkin a tightrope explaining those flesh tones werent ya? Love ta wach you sweat. Later

  • @LOXMYTHIC LOL You mean about a certain skin tone description? Thanks bud!

  • Cool review. Andrea make such beautiful figures, and they're always so wonderfully painted, so I've often wondered about these paint sets.

What was the shipping time like on these? They're a Spanish company I think, so I was just wondering how quick they get stuff out to you.

  • @kingofmarigolds Thanks buddy! I got them off Ebay so it was just a few days. The seller was in US.

  • Do they have a website you can order these sets from?

  • @volandven Yes, they do thanks for watching!

  • Good review thanks fore sharing!

  • @Soulcaresser2 You're welcome, thanks for watching!

  • that looks like an ace set general im going to keep them in mind :)

  • @OrcPainterNerd Thanks for watching, I hope it helps!

  • very cool, maybe you can paint a face showing it live

  • @SwimmingInMtDew Maybe one day when I get faster. Yeah, like that's going to happen! LOL

  • @Generalsplatton like me, you dont sleep lol

  • really detailed video, thanks for it General. :D

  • @Nusphigore You are welcome and thank you!

  • The Lifecolor brand Flesh set is also well worth checking out same layout as the Andrea set. 6 colours 22ml bottles and flows beautifully off the brush. Sorry I'm on the road for next few months so can't film a response to show you.

  • @92ilyas Hey thanks, I did not know that! I have heard of them but I am not familiar with their products.

  • @Generalsplatton They are an italian brand with a fairly extensive range

and have quite a few sets geared towards ww2 uniforms. Ive just started

using it and have done a bit of airbrushing and brush work with it and have found

it to be a joy to use. It is readily available on ebay or online hobby stores,

  • @92ilyas Thanks so much I will check them out!

  • Another great review!

  • @Harbaugh87 Thank you!

  • I've been looking for these, for if I go Icy orks I'd love to have the white and blue sets. Coolminiornot is no longer carrying Andrea Color and couldn't find on ebay. Seems though they can be bought strait from the andrea color website but I have not tried yet.

  • @Da40kOrks

they can be.... but their in like spain soooo.. . and i'm not sure if they have warehouses elsewhere

  • @Da40kOrks Try Andrea Paints as the search. Also sent you a pm on another place. Thanks.

  • Thanks buddy! It was Laurent Esposito mas from the first Miniature mentor dvd that said these are all he uses for flesh. hope that helps, I know you have it. Happy New Year!

  • Excellent my friend! I've been looking at getting into Andrea paints for a while, and this just makes me need them more! :P Thanks for the great review my friend!
