@miraclepieco Don't take it personal. Me not painting my car is not meant as an insult to you. In fact, I do intend to paint my other car.. And if I built an imaculate Model A I'd want it painted too.. No insult intended..
i dont know if its just the cameras microphone or not but that engine sounds like its got an out of adjustment valve or something which could cause it to run hot? either way its an awsome rat!
hey man i see all of your project and you are my idol and inspiration to continue my project of a bronco 66 that all people think that is a rusty junkcar and i love it! i wanna see the rat finished and running in the streets
thats awesome . finally got mine cranked its not the best video but ide like you to check it out mr peek you have helped inspire me on my build and i appreciate it
looks wise , mine hasnt changed much , i been tying up small loose ends and figuring out out to cross auto brands so i got brakes ... i dont have a video cam , so all mine are still pics , but i plan on posting another still pic video soon
glad to see u finally get to drive her ... bet u couldnt wipe the grin of ya face with a back hoe..lol great work... been watchin since ur start and tried to match your progress with my rat , i did get to drive mine first but with absolutly no brakes , so wasnt as fun ... now i have rear brakes to finish so i am in step with you... hope to see u on the streets .... keep postin.. ill post when i have mine stoppable lol
I think what makes this rat rod thing so much fun is its like a throw back to when we were young and trying to get our first car going. Back then the only rules were to somehow make it run off of a petty amount of "kid" money so everything was like a bonus and fun. Check out my 63 chevy I have been building off of wrecking yard parts and a $50 engine if you get the chance, its on "restodan" and the videos are numbered. It sat in a field since 1977
man ive watched her come together from the beginning! she looks great you have something to be proud of. Hell im proud of you and i dont even know you. great job man thanks for taking us with you through it all.
Absolutely fantastic! ... to hear the excitement in your voice, just great. Just a thought on weak battery.... Are the leads really long? If so, may be robbing cranking power. May need larger gauge leads.... Maybe you already considered that.... Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Congratulations on your first drive and thanks for sharing your videos on building your rat. If I had a chance to drive your rat or a Ferrari the rat would be my choice. The Cad engine sounds good.
Richard - if you could have seen my smile as I watched this.....and the second drive ...you kill me. I must be honest - after watching some of this process I never really believed that I would hear it run much less watch it drive down a road! You are remarkable. Congratulations on creating something from what appears to me, to be mostly rust! You are truly a renaissance man - and Al Gore would be thrilled with the recycling. PS - the "Extreme Downest" accent only adds to the experience. Cheers!
cant wait to see it get perfected, i dont know what you have in mind for a wind sheild, but i know of one that would be pretty cool, i like it but im not sure if you would want to use somthing like it it is a hallock windshield, you can search it on google images to get a look at it.
Wow....This is the best series of videos ive ever seen on youtube. I think some of us watching were probably almost as excited to see this thing going down the road as you were. Congrats on getting it running and thank you for posting so many entertaining videos. Have fun with it!!
Yea, I can't stop laughing.. Going to be fun to get the bugs out of it so I can jump in it and go whenever I feel like it. I might not ever walk again.. hahahaha
