Performance mode doesn't exist in Guitar Hero I. It was a new cheat introduced in Guitar Hero II. You just have to look away from the screen to imitate performance mode when playing Guitar Hero I.

1. I am actually playing the song without looking and my roommate taped it. We got bored.
2. I do play the REAL guitar. I'm not very good at the guitar but I'm decent.
3. The shirt is one that I bought at goodwill for 88 cents. My girlfriend and I picked it out because we thought it was funny.
4. I have a custom made guitar that I bought because it had a mahogany body and was very upgradeable.
