Poison Ivy Halloween Makeup (Comic Book Version)

This is great. I've seen a lot of tutorials for poison ivy make up, only thing is, it's always the Batman & Robin movie version. Although this isn't the original comic version, it's great, since in the original comics (first appearance, I mean) she's pretty plain looking. In the particular one you picked, she's not. Also, you're gorgeous! GOOD JOB, YEAH!

I've never seen Poison Ivy with green hair, she's always had red hair from what I've seen in the comics. Though it looks like you tried the gotham sirens version. I would really suggest setting this look with a translucent powder so that the makeup doesn't end up having huge creases making you look like old poison ivy. Cream makeup.....it's awesome, but it will crease on you and fast. Also using sponges not your fingers to blend is better so you end up with a smooth finish.

I liked the brows for this look, although if i tried to do it on me I'd probly think the same as you. One of my friends used to draw hers on and they were even but erm. She kept them on for about a week then spent ages redrawing them. So the girls with the perfect drawn on brows can be impressive or a little bit icky

A really good costume that would go with this is "Eve" (like Adam & Eve) I bought it and I'm going to wear it as Poison Ivy this year instead. You can get it at the Spirit Stores. It's really cute!! :)

Oh I think they're disgusting. Personal preference, but yea they're just gross IMO. Maybe I'm especially pained by it because mine are naturally so sparse and thin, so to see women with perfectly good eyebrows shave theirs off just to draw on 2 skinny dark lines...When it comes to brows, I prefer the natural, yet defined look.

Once upon a time, (the end of highschool), I was actually fluent to an extent - I could read, write, speak all that. I grew up with a few spanish speaking friends and took 2 years in junior high & 4 years in highschool. I actually can still understand it/read it and speak it enough to get by though when it comes to speaking, now I get somewhat tongue tied though I can hold a semi-decent conversation.
