@alfvietnam As long as govt corruption hasn't been resolved, more people will suffer if we allow the population grow at rapid rate, more women and children will suffer. The population should be controlled similar to China but politicians know that it's almost impossible in a democratic country. The govt don't have the right to tell people in densely populated areas( ex.Metro Manila) to move to areas where vast lands are located. Pnoy's only option is to provide them the choice of family planning

These anti Rh advocates will ignore the reality that is happening to defend their own agendas. There is no nationalism on their part which is the major reason our country will never achieve progress. The fact is we continue to elect incompetent officials due to the dysfunctional political system. cong garin should look into the intentions of the framers of the constitution which clearly specifies that conception, which is the beginning of human person, starts at fertilization and not at implantation. Even Fr. Joaquin Bernas SJ holds the view that fertilization was what was in their minds when they drafted the Phil constitution. Hence, RH bill should be banned for being unconstitutional. My take.

@vpbalansag Although the beginning of human life is arbitrary, and thus debatable, most scientist would argue that human life does NOT begin at conception but at later stages ranging from "implantation" to "when a fetus can survive outside the womb without any medical assistance," all of which happening way after conception.

But for the sake of argument, lets say life begins at conception. That makes contraceptives (look up its definition) legal under Phil Cons. coz they prevent conception.

If there was consensus that conception means fertilization, then any one of the first two phrasing should have made if bishops now believe conception is equivalent to fertilization for the purpose of preventing the use of contraceptives.

the woman attacking the RH bill is a extremely odd. how do contraceptives damage the reproductive process. she doesnt understand biology and physiology. people like this get in the way of progress and hold the Philippines down.
