If you guys didn't already, can you guys do a video on using dumbbells/pull up bar/pushup stands/resistance bands/etc vs. a gym membership? Also on resistance bands vs. free weights/weights at all?
The only thing that matters is the intensity and that the muscles are worked to failure. I would not say that free weights are far better. I would not even say free weights are better. With the cam I can get the same resistance through the full range of motion. I can't get that on free weights.

U say leg press is great for leg development... But machines suck because of not using stabilizing muscles. Leg press is a machine so why is it an exception?
Hey! U should of said cable machines are ok, they incorperate the stablizing muscles aswell like at a lat pull down or seated row, not as much as free weight, but still a good ammount.

@lukeyhux tbh i would personally say the other way round like barbells will tone more and dumbells would produce more muscularity but they both have a pretty similar effect depending on how much weight u use, ur form and how much rest u get.. they can both burn fat as well as build muscle

@LeoYoungMusic they did a video on that its called polymetrics aka jump training they said that it was good and its good to cycle off one phase to do polymetrics then go back to resistence like squats leg press you can search for there video but its good you will be working different muscle fibers so you will get stronger one will help the other phase get stronger

@Carnuss they only say they cant because of the lower back......when yous dumbells your lower back plays a huge role in stabalizing your body. matter a fact pretty much your whole body is stabalizing its self when lifting dumbells so if one of your body parts is ALOT weaker(for instance lower back) then the rest of your body ,your can seriously injure yourself

im almost 19 just started working out 2 months ago, havnt gotten a gym membership yet been only using dumbells but ive been getting solid results thanks to your advice. if it wasnt for your channel i wouldnt no what the fuck i was doing especially diet wise. keep making vids and ill keep watching. thanks

Hey @twinmuscleworkout you tried body weight squat jumps? i know they arnt a muscle mass workout but i feel i got about 30% more strength/power on squats and leg press...
i know you have a back problem, thats just a thought/solution i thought you guys might like to know that they truly work well

@LeoYoungMusic they did a video on that its called polymetrics aka jump training they said that it was good and its good to cycle off one phase to do polymetrics then go back to resistence like squats leg press you can search for there video but its good you will be working different muscle fibers so you will get stronger one will help the other phase get stronger

Man, all I do is free weights and body weight at home and the gym, I have chosen not to renew my membership at the gym cause I know to much to stay in shape at home. I do use machines sometimes but no very often.,,,

@Carnuss they only say they cant because of the lower back......when yous dumbells your lower back plays a huge role in stabalizing your body. matter a fact pretty much your whole body is stabalizing its self when lifting dumbells so if one of your body parts is ALOT weaker(for instance lower back) then the rest of your body ,your can seriously injure yourself
