  • are you shooting right handed dominant left eye?

  • Unfortunatly! I might have to buy one of those brss stackers. My wife has issues cocking my glock 19. She has to try to hard and has no muzzle control due to the strain. They look goofy, but they serve a purpose.

  • do you ever run that Serpa holster on your waist? If so does it work alright?

  • @TimandRyder96 Yes he has and yes it does, he just prefers the chest when he is running like this.

  • What kind of holster is that and where can i get it??!!

Also what is the bag on the back of the best and where can i get it??!!

  • @smokyebk Its a blackhawk Serpa, on the internet, its a camelback/hydration bladder pouch, on the internet.

  • what kind of holster are u using for the glock on the vest

  • You should invest in a wind sock

  • to be honest you cant compare a pistol caliber carbine to a full on semi auto pistol.

weight, barrel length and support are huge factors and to compare 2 different style of guns to each other is just pure idiocy

  • @Auszug21 Check history! WWII. Americans. Thompson SMG and M1 Carbine. Carbines were more useful than pistols not only at range but in power.

Which would we rather shoot at 50+ yards? Pistol or carbine? Add more velocity, longer sight radius, and better handling to the carbine. Weight helps with repeated shots. Pistol = backup to carbine & rifle

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're only comparing the two in a civilian carry role... think warrior.

  • @ntrudr800 im not debating which is more useful im simply pointing out that you cant compare the 2 to each other because of the difference that give the carbines the advantage all around the only thing pistols have on carbines is concealability and ease of use in point click die during times that the dude is in your face carbines are more versatile

  • @Auszug21 Shooters should know that a Carbine is a primary weapon and a pistol is a back up. I think I copy.

But these are PISTOL CALIBER Carbines, that's why they are being compared. If they were an M4 Carbine versus an M9 Pistol then yes, they should not be compared. I suppose. Ahhhh wth, pass the----> BEER <--------- :D

  • I would like to applaud you Nutn, for your gun safety w/ the cameraman at 9:13. Too many times I see unsafe gun handling on Youtube. You good sire are a great model for young shooters. Keep the vids coming...

From one Vet to the other

  • Glock man geat value for your money, both great pistols though

  • @aksbe27

I don't know the name of the grip tape he's using but it's in his glock mods video

  • of course a carbine is going to be a much more stable shooting platform, and the longer barrel add velocity to the round, making it shoot flatter and hit harder

  • I really like your outdoor videos.

From the Trench Warfare Drill to Sledgehammer and Eat Lead.

I especially like the Trench and then the Eat Lead.

  • gravy train lol...love it...makes me want to go shoot my glock 17 now

  • its deceiving how quiet the guns sound on camera. great video

  • have you ever done a review on the roni pistol carbine conversion? i am interested in that and i would like to see a good review on it.

  • It's sold on eBay too....boys and girls

  • If that "brass stacker" attachement is not available, I use to teach women that instead of pulling the slide back, hold the slide and push the bottom half (pistol grip) forward.and release the slide. Or combine a push with the pistol grip and pull with the slide hand.

  • How come Nutnfancy runs like a girl? :)

  • @franyalewinski He's running with a loaded pistol. I'm assuming he doesn't want to sweep his cameraman and the other guys on video with a normal arm swing while running. This keeps his elbow tucked in to his body on his right arm, which looks like . . . well, hence the question.

  • what knife is he rocking on that vest?

  • Hey what kind if hostler is that?

  • @MrPoetPoetPoet Wow. You have no since of humor.

  • @MrPoetPoetPoet Then don't watch.....moron

  • @MrPoetPoetPoet if you take a kid shooting your not gonna hand him a cocked gun are ya?

  • @MrPoetPoetPoet I started shooting when I was young. Shooting guns in no way makes children crazy. In fact, learning how to safely operate a firearm at a young age is beneficial. And by the way, nutnfancy is retired from the Air Force. He is just maintaining his shooting skills. Not to mention there are tactical shooting competitions that civilians can become a part of. You are the one who is sad. I rest my case.

  • @MrPoetPoetPoet Also, he is a reviewer of tactical gear. Obviously he is going to review gear and weapons by using them in a tactical shooting setup.

  • what kind of grips do you have on the 17? I have a 21 and do not like the houge wrap arounds as they are too bulky. Thanks.

  • @aksbe27 He's running some of the adhesive grip-tape kind. Couldn't tell you the brand tho. He comments on them in one of his pistol reviews & likes that they are much slimmer than the Houges.

  • hey guys, have you heard about Obama wanting to push recreation shooters off the lands? just read it on drudge report, they say because urbanites are gettin' freaked out when they hear gunshots while hikin' or dog walkin' on the lands out there while rec shooters are out there as well (boo effin' hoo). freakin' anti gun lobbyists oversteppin' their bounds again. pisses me off.

  • females cant cock guns? and im here thinking they were the best

  • @Luger718A1 Women have naturally better aim, but racking the gun requires more strength.

  • @agentjoeblack yea i know...was making a rude joke lol

  • Great to see the Glock 17 back and in a TWD. Very cool video. Keep up the awesome work.

  • I thought glocks dont malfunction!!!

  • @MichaelRudnicki

Every gun will malfuntion at SOME point... in this case most likely because of less-than- spectaular ammo.

  • @MichaelRudnicki Many will lead you to believe they do not, and it doesn't happen very often, but all guns will eventually malfunction, especially when using aftermarket magazines and aluminum cased ammunition. As a general rule, though, you really have to try to get a Glock to jam. The .40s aren't too hard to blow up though ;-).

  • I cant wait till you get your hands on one of those glock carbine kits.

  • 0:29, and gandma/pa..

  • And Nutn you always say you are just an average shooter. I wish I shot half as good as you do.

  • glock malfunction go figure they do suck. just kidding they are good guns, i personally dont like them but if you do more power to you go shoot the piss out of them. cause we all have different tastes in guns. keep your trigger finger ready.

  • anyone else hear the fart? lol

  • Love the trench and the Glock 17!!

  • to be fair you really need an rmr on the pistol. Getting a sight picture with a red dot is obviously easier. Though it does take more money to customize your pistol with a red dot as opposed to just getting an off the shelf for your carbine.

  • @darkspector The other downside is that red dots (well optics in general) typically aren't well suited to carry on a pistol or revolver.

  • 7:42 Fart lol

  • Who farted at 7:40??!! listen real close for it and then you hear them laughing!! lol

  • Ya know what would be really interesting, is seeing one of those Glock mods that essentially turns your Glock 17 into an SBR - PCC....Such as the FABDefense of RONI conversions.

  • @pock8size Most of those setups qualify your Glock as an SBR, so you have to do all the paperwork, too.

  • Hey Nutn, you really need to get two wind socks! One for your camera and one for camera man (Crocket)!

  • any idea in hind sight what was the malfunction(unstruck pimer round)?

  • sour bout them tactical farts

  • I'm curious to know which would perform better: Sub-2000 or a Glock 17 with a tactical stock, like the GLR-440 Glock Tactical Stock. Any chance we could get a video?

  • How is prone position shooting with that long mag?

  • Dude, excellent shooting! and envy your weather, we've got winter breathing down our necks :)) looks fun

  • What a beautiful day, and the scenery is awesome

  • What sights are you running on that 17? I'm in the market for a new pair.

  • Very cool.. I love trench warfare =D

  • jammaged.

  • Good job, guys. Good job on the camera, Crocket.

  • I don't know man- that's not much slower than the carbine. It makes the carbine kind of pointless. Why carry the extra bulk?

  • Love the Glock 17 with that extended mag. I'm sure if he ran that earlier in the day it would have been almost as fast and the Kel-Tec sub 2000. Not having to reload certainly saves a lot of time.

  • It would be cool if there was a cheap polymer butt stock and forward grip that would attach to a glock or Xdm by way of accessory rail or something. Would have to be cheap to justify not purchasing a PCC.

  • @MisterDrumngun you would have an illegal aow or sbr since you converted a pistol by putting on a foreward grip on it, or the stock

  • What was Crocket eating during the Trench Warfare series? Nothing but jerky and root beer? Gravy Train, lol!

  • I got the kel-tec sub 2000....interchanges with my glock 17......love it

  • I have never had an issue with Glocks spitting brass in my face. Have had that issue with a few 1911's and some S&W autos, though.

  • Excellent camera work by crocket at 6:50

  • @hawksky28 do you know if these guys are in utah? just wondering cause I am AND my last name is crockett too

  • @crailberry I have a feeling they shoot near the Wyoming/Utah boarder in the Rockies. Nutnfancy does a lot of stuff in Utah for sure but I don't know where he lives...which is probably for the better. I don't want to be telling the internet where I live either haha

  • @hawksky28 No I actually found out from brian, guy who works at gunnies who did the "Gunnies: Great American Gun Store" review with nutnfancy. All these courses he does is out in the west desert in utah. Only about an hour drive from where I live!

  • @crailberry oh that makes sense. I'm in the northern colorado area and the scenery kinda looks like the high altitude plains of wyoming near the rockies. It'd be kinda cool if nutn took some tnp'ers shooting with him sometime, maybe do the "eat lead drill" from the Kel-tec ksg testing. Looked like so much fun :D

  • haha i thought i was seeing things but at about 653, he takes the camera THRU the window on the barricade haha.

  • His pistol skills are getting noticeably better this year.

  • Glock perfection nothing more needs to be said

  • T'would be cool if you posted distances for each target.. just curious..

    All shooting seemed right on

  • @gunman3006m he actually said that it was NOT struck by the striker. I'm also curious as to what it could have been and won't jump on the "Glocks don't malfunction" bandwagon... this is coming from a guy who carries one almost daily.

Nutn, your work with a pistol is waaayy better than I could do. The extra sight radius makes target acquisition much faster for me but I have just a mere fraction of the shooting time and experience.

Thanks again for the time you put in!

  • Glock 17, accept no substitutes

  • Heard the fart on 7:40? lmao

  • I like this series thx.

  • I was thinking, if you are in the military, why don't you ever go on missions?for you your getting paid to train!

  • @videosbythe5 He retired. He said so in one of his newer philosophy videos.

  • like a bosss

  • Uhhh is anyone else confused why Nutnfancy didn't react more to the malfunction? What the heck happened? Noobie is confused here..

  • @keltec556 i think it's because even though he says he's not...he is a little biased towards glocks

  • @mrKB19xx nope it was ammo malfunction the firing pin struck the primer but it didnt discharge he even shows it on camera

  • Your videos are a treat to watch. Appreciate you bringing us along with you.

  • Is it wrong to think nutnfancy is hot?

  • @ethosflux

You're not the only one, honey.

  • I have noticed that glock will eject casing's at your forehead... That was why I did not buy... Plus the cost, I went with the SR9c, but the mags cost come on Ruger make a more economical mag for such a economical gun. Right Nutn

  • Great shooting for handgun! Folks who haven't tried to shoot following a run - with their heart beating like that - just can't appreciate how tough it can be. Good stuff.

Did you run the Sherer mags in the Sub 2000 without trouble, as well?

  • He made it look easy on the first run, I think he go a little cocky on the second...

  • i had no doubt that the carbines going to be faster then the pistol. The sub 2000 had a red dot. sight picture going to be way faster then iron sights.

  • think crocket and nutn should get married

  • Well a pistol caliber carbine is basically a pistol with the advantages and disadvantages of a rifle. All depends on what you're going for really. For inside-the-home defense (distances of 15-20 feet or less) the added agility of a pistol may put it over the carbine (as it does for me). For medium+ ranges the added sight radius and stability of a carbine place it over the pistol. I'd say they're kinda apples and oranges really, all depends on POU.

  • Huh?

  • 0:26 people will flip at that haha. not tnpers but other not as educated viewers.

  • I bet if you ran a chronograph you would find about 150-200 fps better on the carbine. Significant if your shooting over 25 yards. Thanks for the vids.

  • Awesome subtle camera work by Crocket at 6:53.

  • We miss these vids! When you don't post them for a long time it lets us know you're working on a ton of them, so my hopes are high for several upcoming videos!

  • keep shooting, love it man

  • Nice freaking run Nutn!

  • what sights you have on nutnfancy ?

  • @MrVovaturkey refrence his glocks mods vid

  • @MrVovaturkey scratch that, they appear to be diff that the ones he had then...?

  • Now this is a title that grabs my attention!!!

  • What are your thoughts on the Hi capacity Victory Magazines for Glock?

  • the best gun in the world

  • Get a wind sock.

  • @glennwih Is that an order? I'm sorry if between obtaining new weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo his budget doesnt allow for that

  • @m145634 Yes. A wind can be made for $1.00. lol

  • Great shooting with the glock.

    Glock n Load,

    Mike

  • Crocket, nice camera action @6:55 :)

  • you need one of them foam mic covers to cut wind noise down

  • Very interesting video, Nutnfancy! Man...just watching this made me tired! After hauling all those metal targets around...and then runnng the trench, you guys must be totally exhausted. Speaking of "exhaust" ed...Crocket should pack some Gas X. Darn near smell the toxicity through the screen. By the way, awesome that you included off hand shooting! More challenges in the run!

  • nutn how about a update video on the steel on those action targets?

  • 2:46 Gangsta. haha Love seeing nutn on his game.

  • @nutnfancy hmm do those Brass Stackers adjust to fit different guns or are they model specific? It seems like something I should definitely get for the wife if it works well. Will there be a table top? Or perhaps a female guest shooter giving opinion? Thanks for the effort and expense you go through oh and thanks for you service I missed you on Friday, As you know some government workers don't get off for holidays.

  • Glock Glock Glock. What a great gun. The cabine looked great but id rather carry an AR. Just me. More advantages than a pistol carbine.. I will say PC's have thier place for certain "POU's"

  • ★★★★★

  • There are comments about the 'cocking assist' being a bottle opener. If it works for brewskies, it's worth having.

But, a healthy man is not the test for the 'assist.' How about taking the 'cocking assist' down to a VFW hall & and ask some Purple Heart Veterans (with arthritis or mangled hands) about it. (It looks like it might be just the thing for some folks.)

Thank you, to = nutnfancy & all the TNPers who were, are + will be - in the USA military.

  • off hand shooting...that was great. imma lefty so i got some hope with g17

  • brass stacker? looks ridiculous....is it for the physically impaired shooter?

  • Dos anyone know whare i can get a good Glock 17 airsoft gun???

  • I love that coloration of the Glock....

  • you should be in topshot!

  • Nutn, what's your opinion on the AR-15's chambered in 9mm?

  • @Blemo23 9mm will recoil less (not that .223 is much more) and possibly have the ability to share ammunition with a sidearm. With an AR in .223, you get the added power and range and penetration that a 9mm will never have. It gives you more options in a carbine of a near identical weight, balance, and profile. That's a summary of his pistol carbine vid.

Now if we're talking about AR uppers, there's nothing wrong with having a gun that can shoot multiple rounds. That's known as win ;).

  • I just want an apology, thats all. :) pretty please?

  • I love how you or your wife accidently block your fans.

  • What kind of camo is he wearing? Anybody know?

  • i love my glock 22

  • did i hear nutn drop the fancy bomb? oh damn. his videos are getting more revealing...

  • Not 100%.

  • If you want a magazine that rocks 100% all the time with no worries on if it will jam your gun, get a factory magazine. You pay for what you get.

  • Scherer magazines do NOT feed hollowpoints. I don't know if your magazine is different from the one that I have used (looks the same) but I had one that fed most FMJ ammo okay. However, the magazine I had made by Scherer did not operate 100% like the Glock 31 round magazine with a +2 base plate. If you put more than around 15 rounds in mine I had to use the magazine loader (very humbling because I NEVER use one in any of my mags). I used PMC Bronze hollowpoints in my Glock 19. Just a data point.

  • There were some good ricochets off of the steel this time. The Microphone picked them up despite the windy conditions.

  • Thanks for the reviews.

I realize that you position smaller targets on your course but, have you considered mimicking a BG taking CONCEALMENT/ COVER (i.e. a partial target) to add to the scenario?

Just picking your brain as a point of reference.

  • I wish I had the power to save some TNP videos for watching them later. I'm not strong enough.

  • Have a look at the Triarii by Hera-Arms. They make a nice carbine-conversion-kit for the glock.

  • Does anybody "count rounds"? I know that competition shooters like to reload 1 before empty so they don't have to rack the slide?

  • crocket shit his self again at 7:41. lol

  • Nutn, you need to get something over the mic to cut down on wind noise.

  • Oops meant 00:05

  • 5:00 Woah, dude that sounded like a shat. You OK Crocket?

  • @wtsimpson7 I have a medical condition called sharteritise. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow ; )

  • Like the tactical bottle opener on the slide.:)

  • Nice Vid

  • Wow
