V10 at this time had less power than the current V8's and the cornering speed is much higher!
I do miss the extra torque though, which sometimes show in acceleration out of corners, but as long as braking and cornering speeds are kept high, I can live with them driving 340 at Monza instead of 360!
hungaroring old layout until 2002.

i wish the v10 would come back to f1 it more faster than this current car running.

Car now are way faster than this one!

pretty much agree with you f1 they those engines back but that won't happen which sucks.
brandensimmons1987 2 years ago 2
Or maybe a 3. type of engine?!
F1 should use roadcar relevant tech, and as dieselengines are becoming more popular, maybe in the future we could se a F1 with diesel engines!?
NOT those noiseless (they are noisedampened) engines in the Audi R10!!!
But I think a small dieselengine with very high turbopressure og NO noise reduction could sound great?!
And it would give tons of torque for ongoing acceleration at ANY speeds!
Gasoline engines with extreme revs have no future!
Michaelingolfhansen 2 years ago
that can work because the gasoline engines make no sense of running in an
f1 car.
